Loud music was blasting through the speakers.
Some people were carelessly grooving to the beats while the others were drinking at the bar counter.
Kavin, Dushyant & Ishita entered the place to have an evening of their lives.
While Dushyant & Ishita went towards the dance floor as a slow romantic song was playing, he couldn't help but adore how hopelessly in love his bestfriends were!
Kavin wondered if he'll find a love a like theirs too
As the song took pace, Dushyant twirled Ishita while she giggled in his arms. They were so adorable for their own good.
Ishita couldn't help but blush as Dushyant placed a soft kiss on her right cheek.
With her arms locked around his neck and his around her waist, these two were lost in their own world.
Kavin couldn't help his smile seeing his bestfriends.
They were supposed to enjoy tonight before joining their jobs day after tomorrow. But looks like the lovebirds seem to have forgotten they weren't alone.
As Kavin moved to have another drink, he bumped into a girl. In normal circumstances, he would've just muttered a sorry and moved past the person. But something seemed to have holding him back today.
By locking his arms around her waist, he couldn't help but get lost in those beautiful eyes. That was all he could see as the rest of her face was covered with a scarf. He was so lost that he didn't realise her trying to wiggle in his arms. Unconsciously his hold only got tightened around her.
A new loud number blasting through the speakers finally seemed to have got him out of his trance.
As realisation dawned upon him, it took everything inside him to not let her go. But muttering a sorry, he slowly loosened his grip upon her. Instantly, he missed her being in his arms. "Kya ho raha hai tujhe Kavin", he thought.
Coming out of his thoughts, he was about to ask her something but she was already going.
Suddenly, he spotted a shiny object on the ground. He uplifted it only to find a beautiful bracelet.
Assuming it to be hers and so having an excuse to talk with her, he started proceeding towards the direction he last saw her going. But before he could spot her, she disappeared somewhere in the crowd.
He couldn't even see her face. Heaving a disappointed sigh, he realised that the clock striked 12 indicating it's midnight.
2 days later,
It was a normal day at C.I.D. Bureau. Abhijeet and Daya were discussing some old cases. Freddy and Pankaj were busy cracking jokes while Shreya and Purvi were busy gossiping. Yup, it was a normal day at C.I.D. Bureau.
But today Purvi was feeling a little different as if something good was about to happen.
Her mind couldn't help but drift to an incident that occurred two days ago. She had to go to a bar disguised for a case.
After getting the proofs they were looking for, she covered her face back with her scarf.
While going towards the exit, she bumped into someone. Before she could stumble backwards, a pair of strong arms locked around her waist.
When she looked up to see her saviour, she couldn't help but gasp internally at how good looking this stranger was.
She was lost in his eyes when she realised she was on a mission. Getting out of her trance, she tried to let go of his arms but his hold just got tighter around her.
She couldn't help but get nervous all of a sudden. She was glad that her reddened cheeks were hidden under her scarf.
After what felt like eternity the stranger finally let her go muttering a sorry. Before he decided to change his mind, she rushed out of there.
Coming out of the bar, she tried to compose her quickened heartbeats and get back to her team.
Thinking about that handsome stranger, Purvi didn't realise that Shreya was calling her for a long time now.
After getting pissed off by her bestfriend, Shreya finally pinched her bestfriend to get her out of her trance. And it seemed to work as Purvi came back from her la la land.
"Kiske khayalon mein gum thi tu?" asked Shreya shocking Purvi. While lost in her trance, Purvi didn't realise a red hue adorning her cheeks until Shreya mentioned it to her. "ye dekh tere gaal pure laal hain, tu pakka kisi ke baare mein soch rahi thi" said Shreya wriggling her eyebrows.
"Kya kuch bhi" said Purvi avoiding eye contact in an attempt to get out of this situation. But it only seemed to have got Shreya more suspicious.
Before Shreya could interrogate her further, Acp sir came to say something.
Purvi thanked her stars for helping her get out of this situation at least for now.
ACP Pradyuman informed them about three new officers joining them today.
Everyone was left wondering who will these new officers be.
Until three voices came indicating the arrival of new officers.
"Inspector Ishita Reporting Sir"
"Senior Inspector Dushyant Reporting Sir"
"Senior Inspector Kavin Reporting Sir"
There was someone whose hearbeats got quickened recognising one of those officers. Guess who?
