Next day, when Kavin & Dushyant reached bureau only Abhijeet & Daya were present there. They were busy in completing a few case files when Kavin & Dushyant offered to help.
All of them were indulged in working when Abhijeet asked for xyz case file.
"Wo file toh jab ham uss din abc bar mein chhaanbin karke aaye the toh Purvi le gayi thi"
The mention of "abc bar" seemed to have gotten Kavin & Dushyant's attention.
"Sir ye aap log kis case ki baat kar rahe hain", asked Dushyant
Abhijeet explained them about the case.
Kavin couldn't help but ask "Sir aaplog uss bar mein kis din gaye the?"
"3 din pehle, kyun?" asked Daya
"Nahi sir woh bas aise hi" replied Kavin
Hearing about the same bar and the same mentioned date, Kavin & Dushyant shared a look.
Gradually everyone started coming.
Soon enough a new case was reported. Teams got divided and then everyone got indulged in the case.
Kavin, Dushyant, Purvi & Shreya were returning from the site when Shreya suddenly asked "Purvi do teen dinon se tu apna woh special bracelet nahi pehen rahi"
The word bracelet had gotten Kavin & Dushyant's attention.
"Pata nahi yaar Shreya lagta hai wo kahin gum gaya hai"
"Magar tujhe toh wo kitna pasand tha na tu toh use kabhi utarti bhi nahi thi"
"Ab kya kar sakte hain mujhe toh lagta hai ki wo kisi case ki chhanbin karte waqt kahin gir gaya" sighed a disappointed Purvi
Later on when they were in car, Kavin couldn't help but ask if they were also involved in "abc bar" case.
Purvi stiffened hearing about this. Before she could say anything Shreya interrupted "Sir main nahi magar Purvi gayi thi wahaan bhes badal ke"
"Bhes badal ke?" asked Dushyant
Before Shreya could say anything further, Purvi interrupted "Sir aaplog achanak iss case ke baare mein kyun puchh rahe hain?"
"Woh Abhijeet sir subah uss case ki file dhoond rahe the bas isiliye", said Kavin
"Ohh", said Purvi and sighed a bit in relief.
But Kavin was still eyeing her suspiciously.
Shreya and Dushyant got a call so had leave for a different site.
After dropping them, it was just Kavin & Purvi left in the car.
Once they reached bureau, Purvi decided to hurriedly get inside.
Due to her rush, she was about to trip over the stairs, but Kavin held her by her waist. Deja Vu moment?
Purvi had shut her eyes tight in fear of breaking her bones but when she never touched the ground, she opened her eyes only to find her in the arms of the same handsome stranger.
She hadn't realised that she was unconsciously clutching his collars.
Slowly she tried to get out of his arms, but his hold only got tighter and held her closer.
She froze realising herself back in the similar situation.
What if he recognised her?
Purvi's heartbeat quickened thinking about all the possibilities.
