*Note: This chapter is intended to be short since it is the first chapter.
The clock marked 9 pm Japan time. Fuma sat with Sou on the consecutive benches across the train, waiting. He glanced looks at Sou's tired face and itched to give him a hug. Afterall, Fuma himself was fed up seeing Sou not being a part of most of their song performances along with Marius. They were both clearly mistreated to an extent which suffocated Fuma the most. Sou on the other hand, always tried to keep a smile on for Fuma and the other "main" members. The feelings boiled his heart from the inside but he still resisted them all for the sake of seeing his fans' smiles.
"Sou." Fuma whispered with his deep voice.
Sou was dazzed that he kept staring at the distance with a head drenched in thoughts.
"OI SOU!" Fuma shouted.
"Ah..Nani?" Sou tried to put on his signature smile.
"Don't force it,baka."
"But.."
"I said no need to force it infront of me. Alright?"
"Fuma. You're the most I need to force it infront of." Sou clenched his fists in pain.
"Why..? Chotto, I told you. Nakama Darou? You and Marius are like my Kyoudai."
"You're always this kind aren't you? " Sou smiles a bit.
Hearing that, Fuma places his hand on Sou's shoulder.
"Tell me. I'm listening." Fuma says, as if expecting that Sou would say something. It was something he did everyday. The least he could do to comfort Sou.
"I hate complaining,or showing that side to anyone. Demo..when it is Fuma, I always tend to get advice from you don't I? You're kind. "
"Now now. Is that some speech? NAGAI DA! " Fuma laughs and ruffles sou's hair playfully. At this moment, Sou's worries disappear like nothing. Seeing Fuma's smile had always been his remedy from all the pain. It had such a magic to him. He knew if the world turned their backs on him, Fuma would always be the guy who won't. He was like a guy Sou always looked up to. The older brother he depends on.
"Paaa-♪" Sou placed his hands infront of his face and moved them in opposite sides. A gesture he always did to let Fuma know all the pain is gone.
"Paa janeyo-" Fuma laughs then resumes "-I saw it today. Your expression when the reporter refused you standing with us.Just be your honest self Sou and go on."
"Oh. " Sou tried to laugh it off but then talked. "It really hurt you see. I felt degraded as if I was shot deep into the ocean, million meters deep.I always feel like giving up. Then as I remember your words of encouragment. I forget it all" Sou looks down with a hurt smile.
"It's because Sou is strong. Sou is the manliest guy Fuma knows around I can bet on it."
As Fuma says these words, Sou's heart begins to beat yet again. A beating Sou ignored everyday at the same time. It was also a special reminder that reminded Sou the train he should ride on was going to arrive soon.
"Sou is silent again. Did the ghost eat your words again? HA?" Fuma looks at Sou with a straightface trying not to smile. Seeing that facial expression,Sou bursts out laughing and pushes Fuma away.
"Train arriving,Train arriving." The speakers ring in Sou's ears.
"Ne. I think I should already ride on this, it is 10 pm already." Sou says as he points at the train and stands up.
"Yabai, already? Majisuka?" Fuma looks at the clock. "It is 10! I should rush back into my appartment already or I'll be like a zombie at the university tomorrow."
"Me too, I have Highschool you know!" Sou laughs and runs into the train fast while waving at Fuma. That moment was when his heart beat the fastest. He made sure the train closed its doors when his heart was beating to an extent of ringing in his ears. Afterall, he didn't want Fuma to know. That a guy clueless with Love as him, a guy who was shy when it comes to love , fell for someone. That he had fallen hard, for Fuma.
As the train doors shut , Sou waves frantically to forget the feelings. However, Fuma always approaching the doors then poking Sou's reflection with a random straightface was an action that never failed to initiate Sou's feelings yet again. A moment in which he'd smile shyly while looking at Fuma standing so close yet so faraway. A moment which always reminded him how lucky he was to have Fuma.
