Kazuha met Tomo in the Clan leader comity (Kaedehara clan) when he was 18 and clan is all related (distant distant cousins) so his friend is the reason for his trauma and the meddling comity ( the sword Smith Niwa, Scaramouche and others) and told him so, but he still was upset so he is still friends with him.
About Raiden family:
The Raiden Shogun being the last puppet Raiden Ei created is the youngest child. Therefor being if both Ei and Makoto die She will come into play as the ''Raiden Ei 3'' 'Why so? Can't Scaramouche do that because he is oldest?' remember the reason Ei ''discarded him and threw him away being he was to fragile? in this Au Ei thinks he's too blunt and will make her lose her company 💀 meanwhile Yae will marry Ei for money then fall in love with her ( Yae gets a sad ending don't worry just wait :)
