I was busy counting the raindrops outside the window here, in the coffee shop.
"Kylienne!"
I nearly jumped when somebody called me. I looked at the person and saw Alyanna walking towards me.
"Oh, hey... Alyana." I said and plastered a smile on my face
"You know what, girl? You should've watched Me and Clark's video! It's really sweet. And he even bought me flowers. Then he...." Alyana dreamily said
I didn't listen but just stared at the window. I bit my lip, trying to keep my tears.
"Look at this, Lienne!" Clark said and I looked at it and saw the picture of us
"Were did you get those?" I said and my eyebrows suddenly met in confusion
"Uhm... Don't you like it? Well, I have other pictures of u--"
"No, I liked it. What I meant was, where did you get these kind of pictures of us? Like, you didn't took a picture of us together there, right?" I said
"Uhm... Actually... I uh... Haden helped me taking pictures there. He... He was taking shots of us while we were there together." He shyly said and bowed his head in shyness
"Oh my gosh, Sonny! I can't believe you did that just for me! Oh my gosh, thank you and I love you." I said and hugged him
"I love you too." He said as he hugged me back--
"Kylienne?" I was back into the real world when Alyana called me
"Yeah?" I said
"Why are you crying?" She said and I touched my face and... Ugh. These tears are really a betrayer
"N-nah, I'm okay." And look! My voice is shaking too! My body betrays me!
"Are you sure you're okay? You can tell me your problems if you want to." Alyana said
"No, I'm okay." I said as I removed the tears from my face
"No, I insist--"
"I said I'm okay! Can't you see, Alyana?! You can't understand!" I shouted
And I regret the moment I shouted.
"O-okay. Haha. I uhm... I gotta go, I guess? Bye." Alyana said and I felt guilty
"But..." I didn't finished what I'm going to say because Alyana already left
I made Alyana cry... I just made my best friend cry.
I'm such a loser.
