It was the next day, I had brought Seungmin to the castle and I was looking at his sweet sleeping puppy face beside me. I knew I had to tell him about the problems that were going to be thrown at us. Seungmin yawned and opened his eyes.
"Morning Beautiful" I said. He just answered with a tired groan and sat up. "Look, we need to talk," I said, lowering my tone a bit.
"What is it?" Seungmin asked, seeing my worried expression.
"The people are gonna wanna see who I decide to marry. I've been in the dark about everything ever since my father died and I don't wanna hide our relationship. I love you and I'm proud about loving you and I hope you do that too" I said, grabbing his hands. "I know i'm the first king to date a guy but i don't think it will be a giant problem"
"Are you sure the people are gonna be okay with this?" Seungmin asked.
"I trust my people and I hope we can call them our people" I smiled at him to reassure everything was going to be okay.
"Then I'm happy to always be there by your side no matter your decision," Seungmin said with a smile. I kissed him on his soft lips and then we both got dressed and went downstairs. I told my assistant to get the news out and fortunately the feedback was mostly positive. Many people already loved Seungmin and that's why they were happy about the situation. My uncle wasn't happy about the decision of course but there was nothing he could do about it. I found my happiness. And that's all that mattered to me.

Back to the present

"Your majesty," A nurse said, walking up to me. "The surgery went well and your Husband is now waking up from the anesthesia, we'll call on you once he's awake" the nurse said walking away. My face lit up and so did everyone else's faces. Everyone was there, Minho, Han, Hyunjin, Jeongin, Felix and Changbin. A wave of relief fell over everyone and we could finally breathe. Twenty minutes later I went into Seungmins room and gave him a kiss on the forehead.
"Glad you're okay, love" I said.
"Did you expect anything else?" Seungmin smiled.
"Oh you little, do you know how much you scared me?"
"Yeah yeah I know old man" Seungmin joked.

Minho pov

I was sitting on my throne looking at the ring I bought for Jisung. I had the ring, now I just had to propose. But how? I called Hyunjin and Changbin over. I called Chan too but he wanted to spend his day with Seungmin, which I didn't blame. When they arrived, I sat at my large table in the dining room.
"Look I don't really know why you called us, Chan is the only one who's actually married" Chnagbin said.
"I know but I thought the three of us could come up with something!" I said.
"Do you know what Jisung likes?" Hyunjin asked. I thought for a minute.
"I know that he likes cheesecake," I shrugged.
"Omg you're hopeless" Hyunjin said. "Alright let's start with a place, is there a place that's special to you and Han?"
"We went to a pretty field once and had a good time"
"That's a start!" Hyunjin said. "Well, do you want it to be something big or just small with only the two of you?"
"I think Jisung would appreciate something small, just the two of us should be good"
"How about you ask him out on a normal date to that field, talk about just life in general and be smooth about it, you really don't have to overthink it" Changbin said.
"You're right, I love him. That is what truly matters." I said and stood up from my seat. Right when I was ready to leave I turned back at Hyunjin and Changbin. "Thank you guys" I said.
"Dont worry about it, now go get yourself a husband!" Hyunjin yelled. I rushed downstairs and went into our room. And Jisung was there, laying in bed.
"Hey hunny" I said and sat down on the bed next to him.
"Hi" He said and turned off his phone.
"You would mind if we went on a little trip, just the two of us," I said.
"Not at all," Jisung said while getting up from the bed. I grabbed his hand and followed him out of the castle and into the car. We arrived at the flower field, the weather was amazing. The sun was slowly going down but it was still hot outside with slight breezes of wind blowing in his hair making him look even cuter than ever.
"Cant believe that this place is technically where our first date was," Jisung said, staring at the sun that was slowly disappearing behind the mountain.
"We've been together for a while now, It was a bit rocky at first but I really love you a lot" I said as I wrapped my arm around his little waist and placed my chin on his shoulder. I just wanted to live in that moment forever.
"I wish I could stay here forever," Jisung said.
"Me too" we both enjoyed the scenery for a while and then I remembered why I was there. I took my hands off his waist and took a step back. Jisung turned around.
"Han jisung, from the moment I placed my eyes on you I knew you were something so special, something I wanted to have with me forever. We have had our moments, some were sad, some were happy and I wanna keep those moments and make new ones. What I'm really here to ask is. Will you marry me?" I asked, standing on one knee holding the ring. It sparkled in the sunlight and I could see a big smile appearing on Jisungs face together with tears forming in his eyes making them sparkle. It was as if time had stopped.
