Should I tell mama? Should I cancel? I feel so bad about this. I know he wants me to be happy but I just feel like this is cheating, like this is wrong. Why do I feel like this is so wrong? I'm already dressed. It's too late to back out now.

I wore my black skinny jeans with my red blouse and red sandals. "Layla how do I look?" I turned around and looked at her in her black skinny jeans with a blue blouse and blue sandals. " Yay!" We had to match lol. It's a mommy and baby thing.

I heard a knock at the door and I knew it was him. " Come on Layla." I picked Layla up and carried her down stairs toward the door. I checked my outfit before I opened. He was dressed in khaki pants wearing a light blue polo shirt with some light blue vans. The one thing I really liked about Anthony is that he is different from other boys. He doesn't sag or cuss or fight and he never gets mad. Anthony is just different.

He smiled at me with his perfectly white teeth and gorgeous smile. " Hey." I smiled back at him. " Hi." I replied back. Layla held onto me tighter. "Mommy." She looked kind of scared. I looked at Anthony and he was still smiling. " I'm sorry this is Layla, she is not use to new people. " I know I had this awkward smile on my face. " I understand, I was the same way. " Layla was still clung to me. " Layla it's ok." She relaxed a little but she still had a tight grip on me. I don't know but people just don't seem to like Anthony when they first meet him. Anthony is a really nice person.

" So you ready to go?" He asked me."Uh yeah." We got into his 2014 white Taurus and drove off after strapping Layla in her carseat of course. "So I take it that you have never been to chucky cheese?" He looked at me then back at the road as he drove. "No we haven't." I answered. " I just thought she was a little too young for that place." I was nervous so I started to play with my nails. "Well she kinda is but there kids there her age to play with." I looked back at Layla then at back to Anthony. " Uh I guess." The drive to Chucky cheese was twenty minutes and the car was silent.

The whole ride there I kept looking back at Layla to make sure she was OK. She played with her stuffed monkey the whole ride which made me relieved. I'm glad I remembered to grab her monkey; It's the only thing that keeps her calm. She got the monkey when she was born; Drew gave it to her. As the car came to a stop in the parking lot of Chucky Cheese Anthony looked at me. " Are you guys ready?"

He gave me that perfect smile and I just melted. " Yes." I replied. " Wait here." He stepped out of the car and came around to my side to open the door for me. He held out his hand for me to grab it. I looked up at him to see him smiling again. I took a hold of his hand and he helped me out the car. I unstrapped Layla from her car seat. Anthony grabbed my hand and we walked to the door. It's felt weird to hold Anthony hand. Drew was the only guy I have ever been with. I've never ever looked or touch another guy.

Inside of Chucky Cheese it was packed and crowded sort of. I could feel Layla get nervous and scared in my arms. " Um you guess take a seat, I'll order the food." He walked off and I proceeded to search for a table which I found in the very back. " Gosh we could of did Mcdonalds, this is too much." I sat up straight and point my hands together and waited patiently for Anthony to come back. Layla crawled out my lap and sat exactly how I was sitting. " mommy's little big girl." I smiled at her and watched her as she played with her monkey. Layla is so smart and I can't wait to see how she turns out when she gets older. She turns three in six weeks and I'm so excited for because I have been planning a very special day with her on her birthday.

Drew finally came back to the table and sat in front of us. " I order the pizza." He said. " Ok." I felt awkward a little because I didn't know what to say. " Nervous?" I looked us at him quick. " Uh no I just-" I was cut off. " You were nervous. It's ok I'm a little nervous to."He said. " I smiled at him and then continued to watch Layla play with her monkey.

A little girl watched up to our table and stared at us before running off. She looked to be the same age as Layla. Maybe Anthony was right , I guess kids her age can find something to do. I looked around at all the fun game and I could see that they weren't that bad and I guess Layla could play some of them.

The same little girl that was staring at us earlier came back but with her mother. Layla jumped on my lap to see the girl. "Her mommy." I looked at the little girl then her mother. " Um is there a problem?" I asked. This was getting weird. " I'm sorry." The short lady with black hair and a green dress started. " But my daughter saw your daughter and she wanted to play with her. " I never let Layla go anywhere without me or my mom. " Um I don't know. I mean no offense but I barely know you and I don't want to lose Layla." I said.

Anthony looked at me crazy and leaned over the table to my ear. " It might be good for Layla to make friend, you know she stays so close to you and you will be able to keep an eye on her from where we are." he said. " But it's crowded and what if she gets kidnapped?" I questioned him. " Liyah let her have fun. She looks like a nice women." Before I could even say anything Layla was off my lap and walking away with the little girl and her mother. I glared at Anthony then turned back to keep an eye on Layla who seemed to be doing fine.

" Aaliyah you have nothing to worry about....Now let's talk." I gave him a weird look. " About....?" I asked. " You." He said. " No enough about me. I want to know more about you." I demanded. He laughed at how I said it then replied. " What do you want to know?" He asked. " Every. What you like to do, your hopes and dreams, what interest you and what made you move here, and-" I was cut off. " Okay lets start slow. What do you want to know first?" He asked me. " What made you move here?" I asked. I was curious because I just had to know everything about him. " Well um...I just changed my decision about the college I was going to, I figured this one was better."

" But It's in the hood. New York is great and all but this city is not a place you want to be, especially because of all the gangs." I said. " Gangs?" He hasn't figured it out yet, poor guy. Chicago has the worst gang violence in the united states. "You haven't heard of The Hot Boyz? They are the most wanted gang in the united stated but not cop and get the courage to mess with them." I informed him. " I don't really care about gangs, I'm here for my education." I smiled at him because he is absolutely right. " Yeah your right. " I agreed. " Why are they so hot?"

" Murder, robbery, you name it they did it. But every girl is crazy about them. Except me. I hate their guts and I hope one day they get what they deserve. Especially King, I hope he dies." I was angry all over again. I was feeling the pain all over again and I wanted to cry but I couldn't. " What happened?" I looked at him with sad eyes. " He killed my fiance."

There was a long silence before he started to say something. " I'm sorry for your lost." I decided to change the subject because i didn't want to talk about it anymore. "So you're from where?" I asked all of a sudden. " California." He answered. " You don't have to be afraid to talk to me about it, I understand how you feel." I don't think anyone will ever feel how I feel. " My father was killed by a police officers when I was eight." I looked up at him. His eyes were so serious and sincere. Maybe he does know the pain. "How did you deal with it?"

He took a moment to take a long breath to answer. "When I was 13 I started rebelling against everyone I knew, even my mother. I started hanging with the wrong crowd everyday to skip school and I just ended up dropping out when I was 16 because I felt like there was no reason for me to be there. Funny thing was I had all A's but I was always getting suspended to fight so one day when I got suspended I told them I was never coming back, and I didn't." Wow. " How did you end up in college?"

He gave me a look. " I worked my but off off when I turned 18. They wanted me to kill the officer that killed my dad and I just couldn't. I wanted to so much but I just walked away." I just thought he was some rich proper kid from Cali but he knows the streets just like I do. "I guess we have more in common then I thought." He smiled that perfect smile again and I returned with a smile too. " I'm glad I met you." He said.

I blushed. " Thank you. I'm glad I met you too." The food came came and I went to get Layla. We had a great time and even Layla started to loosen up around him. He took me and Layla home and said good bye to use. He wasn't pushy with anything at all and I think I'm starting to like him. Tonight was perfect.
