An Early Morning Walk: Jeongcheol

A soft yawn escaped the awaking male's lips as he sat up in the big comfy bed. He rubbed his eyes with the back of his hands as another yawn escaped his lips. He smiled once he smelled the fresh scent of breakfast.

He quickly scurried out of bed with a giggly smile as he quietly ran to the kitchen. There in the middle of the kitchen was his beautiful husband cooking breakfast as he nodded along to the soft music playing for background noise. The male quietly giggled as he sneakily walked behind the other and wrapped his arms around him.

"Got you!~" the male cutely exclaimed as he tilted his head to look at his husband's face. "Yes you did! How did you sleep?" The cooking male asked as he set down the spatula he was holding and faced his angel-like husband. "I slept well, what time is it?" Jeonghan asked as he sniffled a yawn behind his hand. "It's like seven in the morning." Seungcheol answered as he went to flip the pancake over.

"Seven in the morning? And you're cooking?" Jeonghan asked shocked by his husband's behavior. "I was thinking we can go on a walk together." Seungcheol pouted a little as he thought Jeonghan wouldn't like the idea. "Why are you pouting? I would love to go on a walk with you." Jeonghan smiled brightly as he placed his hand to the older's cheek, rubbing his thumb over the soft skin.

"Yay! Breakfast is done by the way." Seungcheol cheered as he set the table with the help of Jeonghan. "Then let's dig in so we can go on our walk." Jeonghan stated with smile, Seungcheol smiling back as they dug in.

"You look so cozy!" Seungcheol cooed as he walked out of the bathroom to see his husband standing in front of their full body mirror wearing one of Seungcheol's shirts and some black joggers.

"And who are you trying to impress with what you're wearing Mr. Choi?" Jeonghan asked as he turned to his husband who was wearing a black tank top, grey sweat pants and a thin black jacket to cover up his arms.

"Only you." Seungcheol said as he wrapped his arms around Jeonghan's waist, pulling him closer as he gave him a light kiss to the forehead. "Stop being cheesy and let's go." Jeonghan snarled jokingly as he grabbed the house keys and his wallet. They put on their shoes and headed out the door, hand in hand.

"It feels so nice out here Cheol! We should do this more often." Jeonghan suggested as he let the wind blow through his long black hair. "By 'more often' you mean every blue moon because you most definitely won't be getting up around this time everyday." Seungcheol said with a chuckle as he saw Jeonghan's reaction to his words.

"Are you doubting me? Just so you know, I too can wake around this time of day." Jeonghan huffed as he crossed his arms over his chest. "So what you are telling me is that you would want to go to the gym with me everyday, right?" Seungcheol hummed as he awaited his answer. "I never said that." Jeonghan quipped as he looked over to his husband.

"You just admit to not being able to wake up around this time of day." Seungcheol concluded as he started to laugh at his husband's reaction. "Did you just gaslight me?" Jeonghan questioned as he pointed his finger at the older. "No, never. I would never gaslight my husband." Seungcheol sarcastically replied.

"You're stretching it Choi." Jeonghan warned as he walked further ahead of Seungcheol. "Hey wait up!" Seungcheol called out as he try to catch up with the other, but Jeonghan started running as soon as Seungcheol was close enough to reach him.

And that's how they spent their morning, together laughing and smiling as they walked around the neighborhood.
