<3rd person pov>
"So.." Kazuha said, trying to strike up a conversation with Kunikuzushi as they walk through the forest. " Have you came up with an answer to my offer? About joining me on my wanderer journey?" Kazuha asked the purple haired boy. Kunikuzushi just let out a little hum to the question.
" ..I guess joining you wouldn't hurt. By the stories you told earlier, all the journeys you've went on sounded very exciting and eventful!" Kunikuzushi finally said with a smile and eyes filled with excitement, ready for a new adventure. Kazuha let out a proud huff and continued to tell the other more about his adventures. He didn't stop till they approached Beidous boat.
"and then, I-" Kazuha paused in the middle of his sentence once he saw Beidous huge ship.
"Woaahh, what is that big thing? It looks like a gigantic rock cut in half.." Kunikuzushi asked Kazuha as he looked with amazement and curiosity.
"What your looking at is something called a boat. It's something built from wood that floats on the water. Boats can carry things like trading goods, animals, but it's mainly used to transfer people over large distances to one place to another." Kazuha explained while Kuni nodded. Kazuha then waved his arms high at the boat so the crew members can let the bridge down for them to aboard. "Hopefully you won't get seasick by this ride."
"I don't know what that is, but I doubt that will happen." Kunikuzushi said with a confident smile as he follows Kazuha and boards the boat.
Once on the boat, a tall and muscular women approaches the two.
"Hey kiddo! Who's you brought this time?" The lady asked Kazuha, signalling with her eyes to the boy next to him.
"This is Kunikuzushi, or Kuni for short. You wouldn't mind if we'd catch a ride on here to Liyue, would you?" Explains the partly albino boy, following with a question.
"No, not at all! You're practically one of us! Oh and welcome aboard Kuniku... uhmmm... Kuni!" Trying to brush off the fact that she already forgot his name, Beidou hugged Kunikuzushi. It wasn't as warm as the one Kazuha gave him, but he still accepted the embrace. He liked hugs a lot, or atleast that's what Kazuha said they're called.
Beidou lets go of the boy and ordered the sails men to start to pull out and start heading to sea.
Kazuha leads Kunikuzushi to a spot on the boat which is not on the sailsmens path. He then pulls out a leaf out of nowhere and started playing the melody he'd played earlier at the cliff, where he had gave Kuni a name.
The boat slowly departed from Inazuma and started making its way to Liyue, the nation of contracts. Beidou announced that the six hour ride should be mostly smooth, and so everyone continued their assigned jobs in a relaxed manner, listening to Kazuhas melody. It was so relaxing to the point where Kunikuzushi fell asleep, leaning his head against some cargo left on the ship.
Kazuha put away the leaf he was blowing into just a few moments ago to ask a crew member if there were any blankets to use. He'd prefer to take his sleeping friend to a room with an actual bed just below them, but didn't want to startle him when he'd wake up. The weather was nice outside anyways.
The crew member gave him directions on where to find them, which then Kazuha thanked him and went off for the blanket. Kazuha finally found the blanket after 15 whole minutes of searching, worrying that it may have gotten cold outside in the time that he had left. That's when Kazuha started to wobble around, almost falling. 'Am I the one shaking or the ship?' He thought. Then some things off the rack started to fall as well, which was enough proof that it was the ship.
