As the three Diamonds walk away, Purple sees something move inside her room.

🟣-A pearl? What is a pearl?
🐚-A pearl is an attendant for Diamonds or for high ranking gems, they are given to normal gems too only if the gem accomplished something important and a Diamond believes it's necesary to award the gem with such a reward.
🟣-But, aren't they gems too? Can a pearl have a pearl?
🐚-Well, they sure can but it's really hard, it's rarely seen a pearl without an owner, let alone one that impressed a diamond!

🐚-Well... I was specially created just for you! Every Diamond has a Shell, or as you know me Shell Shard.
🟣-Why aren't you a Shell?
🐚-I am a Shard Shell because I am too young, to become a full fledged Shell a Shell Shard must be atleast 10.000 years old.
🟣-Will I grow too?
🐚-No, to grow you need to colonize planets and absorb-
🟣-When will I colonize planets?
🐚-When you will be mature enough to handle thousands of gems under your hand.
