*Courtney's POV*

I was at school and today was not the best day.

It was raining, I forgot my umbrella and my math homework at home, and I got a bad grade on my science test.

The only thing that got me through the day, was looking forward to 6th period.

It was my History class, and the only class I had with my best friend Myles... And cause I really liked him.

I had feelings for him ever since we met, which was forever ago.

Sadly, I don't think he has feelings for me the way I do for him.

Myles is kinda popular.

He is one of the hottest guys in school.

I'm not as popular as him, but I'm considered 'cool', I guess you can say.

Finally, 6th period comes around, but I got to class a bit late because my 5th period teacher decided to give us a lecture with 2 minutes left of class.

I sat down in my seat right as the late bell had rang, and Myles whispers in my ear from behind me, "Oooh, right on time Courtney!"

I turned around and gave him a look gesturing that I'm so tired and done with today.

He gave me a puppy dog face showing his fake sympathy, and then smiles and winks.

Myles sits in the row next to me, 2 desks down.

The teacher started talking about the assignment he wanted the class to do, which is due at the end of class.

"Okay class, work on this assignment quietly and independently. It's due before you leave." My teacher said.

So everyone go to work, and so did I.

I was working on it when a paper airplane landed on my desk.

On the flap, it said 'Open me.'

So I opened it, and it said, "My house after school at 6?"

I turn to see Myles smiling at me, do I write 'Yessss' on it and throw it back to him.

I throw it too hard though, so it ended up hitting him in the face.

I tried my hardest not to laugh, but I couldn't help it.

Myles and I started cracking up.

The teacher yelled at us, "Courtney and Myles! What's so funny?!"

"I accidentally hit Myles in the face with a piece of paper." I reply trying not to laugh.

"Oh.. so you're passing notes in my class Ms. Courtney? Well here's a note for you... to detention after school from 5-7."

"But!" Myles started.

But our teacher cut him off saying, "I don't want to hear it, or you can join her too."

Great! Now I can't go to Myles.
