(Backstory- you and Ethan have been dating for a while and you decided to join in on his twitch stream to watch him play games because you couldn't sleep)

I walk into Ethan's recording room not knowing if he's making a video or editing and he glances at me and his eyes go wide and I see him look at his PC

Ethan: hey guys I'm gonna go to the bathroom real quick brb

(In stream: the chair gameplays screen comes on and his mic gets muted)

Y/n: I'm sorry I didn't know you were streaming

Ethan: no no it's ok why are you up? It's 2am and you were asleep when I came in here

Y/n: bad dream...

I say and look down messing with my hoodie strings

Ethan: I'm sorry bubs, your more then welcome to join my stream I'm just playing some Fortnite with the boys

He smiles and kisses my cheek

Y/n: are you sure? I don't wanna intrude on guy time

I giggle

Ethan: I'm sure baby you won't be intruding on anything

Y/n: ok

I smile and walk over to his gaming chair and he moves the chair out of the way and brings his mini loveseat up so we can both sit there

Ethan: do you wanna play with us? I'm sure they won't mind

Y/n: maybe in a few rounds I kinda wanna just watch for a bit it's been a while since I played

Ethan: ok baby that's fine

He sits down and I sit next to him sideways on the seat with my feet up on the seat and lay my head on my knees and he turns his stream back on

Ethan: hey guys so quick little thing y/n is having a rough night and would like to watch me play and maybe later join in on the game if that's ok with you guys

He turns his discord chat to where you can hear it to

Mark: yeah sure I don't mind tell her I said hi

Jack: nah man it's all good y/n how's it goin'?

Wade: sup y/n good to see you it's been a while since we all talked

Y/n: hey guys I'm sorry for intruding on guys night

Mark: no it's ok!

Jack: it's ok!

Wade: no worries!

They say all at once and we all laugh a little I look over at Ethan's chat and a ton of people are saying hi to me and asking me questions and I got a little overwhelmed and I guess Ethan could tell because he grabs my legs and puts them over his lap while he's dropping in Fortnite and I glance at him and he smiles at me

Jack: so y/n I have a question

Ethan: oh god

He laughs nervously

Y/n: okkkaaayyyyy

Jack: what's it like having to sleep in the same bed as the same guy who almost jumped out of his seat on a plane to the point he almost broke the seatbelt because of a dream he had 

They all start laughing except Ethan

Ethan: bro that's not funny anymore

He starts slightly laughing

Y/n: shockingly he's a pretty heavy sleeper most of the time but when he does have those light sleeper night where he's tossing and turning I tend to just monkey onto him to get him to stop moving

We all start laughing and Ethan nudges my leg to look at the chat

User7544: hey y/n I just wanted to say I'm super happy for you and Ethan and your really pretty and anyone who's mean to you clearly doesn't see how happy you make our little eef

I see the chat and smile but then as I look down I see another

User98524: bro Ethan's girlfriend is literally just like a pet she barley talks and only listens to him I mean it's like she's empty headed

I look away at ethan and my eyes glance at the chat and he looks at me sadly and leans in like he's going to kiss my cheek on the side that's not facing the camera

Ethan: ignore them your the most amazing girl I've ever met

He whispers in my ear and kisses my cheek and privately messages his mods to ban the person who said that I look at him and half smile still fighting the tears and he points to his screen and I see so many chats about me

User875: omg y/n I love you

User2541: y/n your hair is so pretty!!

User1679: I love how happy Ethan looks with her

User964: I'm kinda new to the community but I have to say your girlfriend is beautiful

I look over at Ethan and smile and he rubs his hand up and down my leg and kisses me

Ethan: I love you baby girl

He says and I giggle

Mark: awwwwwww look at y/n and Ethan being a cute coupllleeeee

Jack: here goes Ethan being the golden retriever boyfriend nah I'm just kidding i know how much he loves her

Wade: you guys are making me feel so lonely even though I'm in a relationship

They all laugh and keep playing the whole time Ethan looks at you and smiles and sometimes gets distracted looking at you sitting there in his hoodie and eventually you start playing to and the boys are shocked with how good you play as the night goes on Ethan falls more and more in love with you as he watches you sit there in his hoodie and a pair of shorts playing Fortnite with him and his friends and later when all of the streaming and post stream hang out gaming is done you end up falling asleep in Ethan's lap while he ends stream and plays a few rounds with his friends and after he's all done he picks you up and carries you to your room and lays down next you you and as he's playing with your hair to fall asleep you he looks at you and says

Ethan: you are the best thing that's ever happened to me...I love you goodnight princess

And you both fall asleep in each others arms
