Alien World

The Abduction

A man, Colby to be exact. Was wandering home one evening. He sat down in his chair and watched YouTube.
He wanted to explore some abandoned places after seeing how fun it could be. He loaded up, and went out.
He brought flares, a pistol, machete, flashlights, and plenty more. He was ready.
He knew this one place that was infamous for having alien sightings.
So he went there to see for himself how real these stories where. He went there and saw nothing.
He was sad he didn't even get scared. Suddenly a light from the woods glew. Could this be it!? The aliens!?
He shined his light and, it was a robot? He stepped closer letting out a sign of relief.
He asked the robot who his owner was. It stepped back seemingly scared. He reassured it he wasn't going to hurt it.
Suddenly more lights began shining in the distance. He couldn't tell who it was so- THE ROBOT'S RUNNING!!
Maybe this was his owners he thought as he pursued the robot. Maybe this was some kind of stunt to give people free robots?
The robot ran over to the mysterious men. Pointing directly at Colby.
Colby said "Hey sorry for chasing your robot, I just wanted to know who made it!"
He felt something was off, the guys weren't moving or responding. Was this actually military!?
Colby backed away hoping maybe these guys would just leave too.
A light almost blinded him, was that a helicopter!? He started waving and pointing at the men. They were gone.
The helicopter was silent, this really is the military isn't it!? He begged saying he would never tell anyone.
Suddenly he started floating, "Am I dead?" He said, while questioning to himself if those were angels leading him to the skies?
He opened his arms ready for God, but he was in a white room now. "Eh? Heaven? Is there a judgement room?" Saying as calmly as possible, as to not upset God of course.
Gas flowed into the room, "Wait no, your not god!" He said realizing he is being kidnapped.
He passed out slamming into the cold metal floor.
Suddenly he woke up, in some kind of cell, prison? Is he being interrogated?
He saw a robot driving, that's the same robot! He pounded on the... well some kind of glass.
The robot turned turned around and woke something up.
Some yellow thing with three eyes, and amphibian ears.
Talking in some foreign language, Colby shrugged. The alien put his hand through the... forcefield?
Colby shook it and tried walking out but instead faceplanted into the forcefield.
The alien took his hand out. And started looking around for something.
He pulled out something that resembled a walkie-talkie.
Speaking into it. He let Colby read it, it said "Hi, I'm Algartail. This is a translation device, speak into it."
Colby said "The f*** am I and who are you!?" The alien gave him that look that saying Really had to say that?
The alien said "I know your worried about your family and friends, but you don't have any."
Colby in rage said "Yeah? Well I'll kill yours!"
The alien grabbed him and pulled him through forcefield, then smacked him across the face.
Others got up to stop them. While they were distracted Colby ran. He ran into a room and locked the door.
Or he's pretty sure anyways. He saw some pad, jumped on it and pressed random buttons.
The aliens busted through the door and rings began spinning around Colby, in an instant Colby was gone.
He was in a different place now, it was beautiful.

Colby saw a family of something walk out of an elevator thing.
He jumped in the elevator and found himself in an underground city.
He was marveled by this and looked around.
He eventually arrived into some hallway.

It wasn't so beautiful in this hallway though.
He kept walking though. No matter how liminal it was.
He eventually arrived inside the underground city!

It had a fake sky though so. But he saw a giant ship hovering above.
There were aliens everywhere! He looked around hoping to find someone who'd help him, he saw... A human!! Finally!!
He ran to the human asking if he knew anything about this place and how to get out. But human replied in a foreign language too.
Colby was alone...

He ran away hoping to find someone, anything!
He saw a booth of those things that translate stuff.
He snatched one, but sirens started going off. Everyone backed away.
Oops, he must have stolen... He ran because dang it he needs that translator.
Orbs started chasing him through the crowd of aliens.

But he saw armored robots in the distance.
Running proved to be difficult when people are trying to block your way.
Wasn't he the alien amongst everyone?
Enough, he'll lose them eventually. He ran into an alleyway.

He saw he was trapped between the police. "Wow, what a run, this is where I died" The police closed in on him. He was preparing for death.

But they didn't kill him, they knocked him over and tased him.
They took his translator box and said something in that foreign language again.
Someone approached him, it was some little girl?

She gave him a translator and ran off. He was confused but grateful.
He decided maybe he's in a dream, a oddly realistic dream.
There has to be some kind of hotel right? He read all the signs with his translator.
And to his surprise, most of the buildings were just hotels!
But then he realized, how would he get money?! He can't just get a free room... Can he?
With this thought he rushed into the nearest hotel, and started begging for a room.
He was denied... Well, that failed.

A man, or uhh... It's kinda hard to identify this... Thing...
Approached him. And just stood there. Colby tried speaking but was cut off when something shook.
He was on an elevator?! Walls formed around him, trapping him in.
Colby began to panic, he didn't know anything about this place, he was miserable.
Suddenly the stranger gave Colby a pat on the shoulder.
Colby pulled out his translator... Wait what did you think I was gonna say?!
Colby spoke into saying "Do you know anywhere I can stay for free?"

The stranger scratched his head and started speaking.
"I could give you some money to get a pod." the stranger said in an odd accent.
Colby asked "What's a pod?"
The stranger replied with "Oh your new here. Their like tiny houses that hang from really big cables."
Colby said "Ok, can you show me where one is?"
The stranger replied "Yeah sure, but uhh it's up on the surface"
After a awkward elevator ride the stranger led Colby out the door and pointed at something.
It was a wall, with a lot of 'pods'.
The stranger gave Colby some money and walked off.
Colby would've said thank you, if the stranger hadn't already disappeared.
Colby walked into the building, gave some lady money and received a key.
Rode an elevator up a few floors and went into a pod.
The view was beautiful. He could see the lights and signs surrounding the building.
He crawled up to his little bed and drifted off to sleep.
