Soothing sun rays made their way through the luscious feathery trees and entered the boy's room through a huge glass pane.

The boy woke up and went out of the room, searching for Rachel. The villa being huge and luxurious had the boy dazed. He whined a little trying to search for her, and went outside in the garden. He saw her sleeping on the same armchair, hugging her knees. He decided to approach her and sat down on the floor, staring at her sleeping figure. Unknowingly he blushed and chewed on his lower lip looking down and remembering the way she wiped his tears last night.

He jotted his gaze up again just to meet her eyes this time. He gasped upon looking at her siren gaze and anxiety filled his nerves.

Rachel noticed his quirkiness and pulled him up, parted her legs and made him sit in between, holding his waist from behind. She made him rest his head back on her chest.

'How is your hand now', she asked him.

'Uh b-better,' he muttered, tilting his head a little towards the back.

'For how long have you been sitting here on the floor?', she asked.

'J-just five minu-,' he was interrupted by his growling stomach. He was embarrassed.

'Go to your room and wash up. Let's have breakfast and then we'll talk,' she told him.

He got up, bowed to her and hurried to his room.

She chuckled finding him very innocent and admirable. 'I wonder what's his story now. He seems weird and fragile..', she thought before getting up.

She toned up within fifteen minutes and put on some basic black satin shirt and pyjama to go with a cardigan (ion knw man whateva). She then realised the boy had no clothes to change into. Even though he had baby cheeks, big shiny almond eyes and a fragile personality, he looked quite the opposite. She was herself  5'8 but he seemed an inch or two taller than her. His physique was lean. He seemed like a soft boy though.

She got a pair of her black oversized hoodie and her black cargo pants and went towards his room just to find the boy whining.

She heard him whimpering from inside the bathroom. It sounded as if he was struggling with something. She threw the clothes on the bed. Shaking her head she went inside and found him juggling with the shower handle. Fortunately, he had his undies on. He was all wet and annoyed. The soap was on the floor. Seemed like he had a good shower..

'How long will you take?', she asked him trying to resist a wide smile.

He turned around on the spot and tried to cover his body. He had shied away.

'I-I- the s-shower. I-it is', he tried to speak in his small voice.

She went to close the shower and realised that the boy washed off with icy cold water. The boy near her had himself wrapped in a towel and his teeth were clattering cutely.

'I've kept your clothes on your bed. Wipe yourself dry and come out,' she told him and was about to step out of the shower when she slipped stepping onto the soap.

She was about to fall onto the hard floor, but the boy quickly held her from the waist, wrapping both of his arms around, in order to save her. She held onto his arms. But to both of their tragedy, his towel was lying on the floor now. They were hugging, specifically, he was naked against her body. He gasped loudly and got red out of embarrassment. He moved a little and his foot hit the glass door, making both of them scream and fall. Now he just stared at her in her eyes and this time she looked scary.

'Jeez! My fuckin back hurts', she tsked and..

..he sneezed cutely in return adding a full stop to her sentence..

He quickly held his towel around his waist and got up.

'I'm so s-sorry ma'am', he said in the same innocent voice.

She got up and he looked at her walk away. He was hurt. His eyes got glossy again. He went out after her. She was not in the room. He changed into the clothes which were kept there.

He went out of the room and watched her receive a delivery. He went near her and said with his glossy eyes, 'I-I am very s-sorry again mam'.

She ruffled his long hair and again wiped his tears.

'Come sit here. I'll serve you breakfast,' she said and made him sit on the comfy sofa.

She served him honey spread pancakes and sweet orange juice. And she herself had them with a dessert wine. He copied her eating habit and she was impressed by the way he could do it successfully.

'Now we're getting to a serious talk. Who are you? And what were you doing in my garden last night?', she shot her questions after they finished their breakfast.

'I-I am Coco. T-they all used to c-call me Coco', he said looking down.

'Coco?! And they? Who?', she questioned.

'I w-was kept trapped with other people. T-they b-beat me, torched e-everyone. They w-wanted to sell us somewhere but after years we could finally c-contact the police. w-we all ran away the d-day before yesterday. All of them didn't get arrested. They have a huge network. Two men were after me. I kept on running and found this place. I have been hiding in the garden since yesterday. I-I didn't want to go back there I h-have nobody I'm sorry-', he choked out crying at his words.

'You can stay here with me honey. Don't stress out. Relax', she whispered out after pulling him closer.

He rested and cried in the crook of her neck. She patted his head and fell asleep.
When Coco noticed that the pats had stopped he got up from her and put a blanket on her body. He knew she couldn't sleep because of him last night.

𝗖𝗼𝗰𝗼'𝘀 POV

'I've been so clumsy since she found me. I should make it up somehow,' he thought.

'She's so beautiful. Do I even deserve her pity', I talked to myself looking at her face.

'I've disturbed her personal life so much. I should try to make it up by cooking her food. That's what I am good at,' I thought to myself and got up.

I decided to get some groceries with the money Rachel had left on the kitchen counter hoping she wouldn't mind.

(time skip)

Rachel woke up feeling much better. And was instantly greeted by a delicious fragrance.

𝗥'𝘀 POV

I followed the mouth watering fragrance and saw Coco in the kitchen. He was cooking.

'H-hello. You woke up. I took the money you had kept on the counter to buy some groceries from a village nearby', he said looking down as soon as I entered the kitchen. I felt sad. he was so pure. He deserved better in life.

'The fragrance is tempting. You made everything by yourself baby?', I asked him calmly.

He blushed before mewling, 'Y-yes mam'.

He looked adorable.

We had our lunch and talked about random things.

In the evening I took him out for dinner and we went on a long night drive.
It felt like living life after three years again.
