Without sounding too much like a certain tall, musical goddess, allow me to welcome you to another story from 'The Vault'. Polyculture is the second book from my trilogy of unrelated novels that I penned when I was in college which I dusted off, rewrote, and repackaged in this purple-pink bundle for you to enjoy. It is a BTS fanfiction story and the closest to my heart because these seven guys gave me hope at a time in my life when I had very little to live for. ARMY will know that we all have a lot to be grateful for because of them.

I used to hide the fact that I adore them and their music because people like to throw rocks at things that shine and BTS shone the brightest. Sometimes, the world controls us by denying us the things that bring joy. I was so scared that someone would find out that I'd written this book, it was placed in a misnamed folder with a password. But not anymore.

In India, we don't have the best sex education system. We are learning and growing and hopefully, we will have it in place soon. However, I found out a lot about sexual orientation, gender identity, pride, and the struggle for equality when I reached university. It was around the time BTS' Love Yourself tour was going strong so it was natural that these beautiful concepts came together in the form of this book. I wanted to have characters that had positive experiences which were a celebration of love and diversity, rather than the tragic coming-out stories and shameful portrayals of queerness that dominated pop culture at the time.

My version of a utopia.

Now, onto the disclaimer. I am fully aware that BTS is in no shape or form associated with the content of this novel. It is fiction based on celebrities. They are distinct people and I have nothing but the utmost respect for them. The purpose of this novel is to celebrate inclusivity and the ideals of loving yourself that BTS promotes. As for the content warning, this is a light summer romance that explores polyamory. There are mature sexual scenes but not extremely graphic ones and the novel has been rated accordingly. Smut lovers will not be disappointed.

Updates are every Wednesday. Please vote and comment because I would love to laugh along with you through this midsummer madness' dream where love and attraction reign supreme over Lana, Jungkook, and Taehyung as they navigate the peaks and troughs of young love. The blush pink cover of Polyculture will surely look stunning in your library so kindly add it to your reading list as well.

Without much further ado, let's get it!
