The obssessed lover

chapter 7: The Truth

This chapter begins with Kaminari's Grandma, Sophie.

"I wonder how Kaminari is doing. I'll call him and his friends to check up on him." As Sophie was thinking she was reaching for the cold metal just beside her, although she never really understood how to work one and what the hype was about phones nowadays, Sophie only had one so that she could contact her grandchild and family. She dialled the number and pressed the call button slowly as if it was going to break if she pressed too hard against the glass .

The phone began to ring but there was no answer just Kaminari's voicemail, she rang again but yet again no answer,she was beginning to worry "maybe he is just busy and he will ring me back later" sophie nodded her head in agreement with herself and placed her phone down lifting her fragile and wrinkly hand away from it.

3 hours later Kaminari still didn't ring back and his grandma began to worry again, Kaminari always made sure that he answered his grandma at least an hour later. What was so different today? Was he just really busy with school work or is he in trouble? All these questions kept floating around her head but pushed them aside and rang one of his friends, she had enough of waiting for him to call back.

"Hello, is this one of Kaminari's friends?" her voice sounded fragile and shaky.

"Uh yeah why who is this" Kirishima replied with an eyebrow raised

"I'm Kaminari's grandma sophie, i was wondering if you could put him on the speaker i need to talk to him"

"Oh I'm sorry he isn't here. Come to think of it, I haven't seen him in school for a few days. Is he alright?"

Sophie's heart pummelled this was not what she was expecting from the red haired kid "w-what do you mean he texted me on saturday saying that he came out to you guys and you let him stay at your apartment since you all share one already."

"Huh that's strange he never came out to us then came back to ours although if he did we would be more than happy to let him stay, we only saw him go back to your house.."

Sophie's heart dropped even more, the person she loved the most was missing, she could feel tears forming at the edge of her eyelids begging to be set free as she went into a panic. Without realising she pressed the hang up button leaving poor kiri confused and worried for his best friend and his grandma.

Sophie called Kaminari for the last time but this time someone answered, Sophie's face lit up but dropped again as she realised it wasn't her grandson at the other end of the phone.

"Hello who is this calling" a husky voice answered, sending shivers down her spine.

"WHERE IS MY GRANDSON!" Sophie shouted from the top of her lungs to show her anger and worry. Shinou's eyes widened with shock; he didn't know what to say.

" Ah, you must be Kami's grandma. I've heard so much about you, don't worry about your grandson, he's with me. I'm a... friend of his from school, I'm Shinsou."

"Oh Kaminari never mentioned you anyways can i speak to him I need to talk to him"

"Oh um im sorry he's sleeping at the moment but ill make sure i'll tell him to call back!"

Sophie was about to say something but Shinsou had already hung up on her. Something didn't feel right to Sophie, there was a feeling of unease swirling around her stomach.

Sophie texted Kirishima to find out if shinsou was really Kaminari's friend from school and when he replied Sophie knew exactly what happened to Kaminari.

"That lying bastard!! Don't worry Kaminari i'll come to save you"
