The day of Alex Danvers was of course always tiring. But today was the most tiring day in her life.

Her wife, Astra, retired early from work when they found out that Jemmy, their first born baby girl, has a slight fever.

Sighing, Alex entered the elevator as she fished her cellphone on her bag, calling her wife.

“No, Jemmy don't!” the background that greets Alex upon her wife answers the phone.

Eyebrows furrowed a bit, Alex cleared her throat, “Is everything all right?” she asked.

She knew that Astra will never let their baby to be harmed but she is slight worried too.

Calming a bit upon hearing her daughter's giggle and her wife's chuckle on the background, Alex smiled.

“Yes, she just say something that I knew you will going to be mad with, you owe me a lot, Alexandra In-Ze Danvers,” she gulped and blushed upon realizing what Astra meant.

“Oh no, wait, did she—I'm almost there!” she said upon seeing the elevator door opened, rushing through their apartment, Alex stopped in the middle of the hallway upon seeing her baby girl and Astra outside their apartment.

Chuckling softly upon seeing Astra wearing the Stitch sleeping outfit and was matching with their daughter, she wanna imprint this memory of them.

Starting to walk towards her family, Alex knelt in the middle of the hallway upon seeing her daughter run towards her, her tears(happy don't worry) can't help but to form on her eyes, Astra suddenly walked towards her with a very concerned face.

Jemmy was the first to hugged her, Astra rubs her back, “What happened?” she asked.

Shaking her head, Alex smiled before carrying Jemmy and kissing Astra's cheeks, a giggle left on their daughter's mouth. “I'm just... Happy, too much happiness,” she tried to explain but Astra smiled at her before wiping the tears that are forming unto her eyes.
