Chapter XIV

Hey I would like to apologize for going on hiatus it's just after a loved one past away I was grieving a lot and I'm doing a bit better now so I'll try to countinue writing but can't guarantee that I'll do it successfully anyway enjoy! Also this is gonna be the last chapter cuz I don't feel like finishing the series I'll probably start a new one but sorry<3

The moment I saw Zenitsu I was Devastated, no way he's here. I groaned picking up the menu to cover my face. I'm not in the mood to talk to him, especially as, my feelings for him grew. I looked at Rui, noticing he was staring confusedly I immediately pointed to Zenitsu.

"Is that who you didn't want to run into?" Rui asked, he tilted his head to the left.

"Yeah, the world loves torturing me" I sighed, still using the menu to cover my face. 

"does it?" Rui asked, a little giggle escaping him.

"Yes it does" I cried setting down the menu, I let my guard down.

"Nezuko-chan!" I heard Zenitsus voice call. Shoot.

"Zenitsu-kun, hi didn't expect to see you here, are you with Daki?" I asked, putting on a smile.

"No but I'm here with Kaigaku!" He said joyfully.

"You are?" I said, Devistated. "Well uhm this is Rui, and Sora if you don't already know them"

“Oh yes I already know them!” Zenitsu said joyfully. “Can we join you?”

“Uh- I- S-Surrreeee” I stuttered rapidly and nervously.

“Great!” Zenitsu said Kaigku and him sat down with us.

“So nezuko what are you doing here with—” Kaigaku started, before being interrupted.

“I can hang out with children if I want to” I blurted out. Great that's embarrassing.

“Oh- ok” Kaigaku said. He looked away to the other side.

“How about we just order” Zenitsu requested everyone happily agreed.

6:34pm

I was drained, I set my bag on the ground as I plopped onto the couch barely being Able to open my phone to check my messages, I can't handle anymore of hiding my feelings I just want to tell him but it's not right, and hiding my feelings just hurts my chest. I wish it didn't and I might have to tell him soon. Maybe... What am I thinking? I shouldnt do that whatever...

“Nezuko? Are you ok you seem different." Tanjiros asked as he walked into the living and sat next to me. His dark red eyes glowing as they stared into mine.

"Yeah I'm ok, thank you Tanjiro your the best" I said managing to stay calm with a smile on his face, I don't want Tanjiro to worry about me. "I'm gonna go to bed early I'm tired.."

"Oh ok" Tanjiro said as he walked me stand up and walk away reluctantly.

I sighed softly as I made it to my room, I groaned letting myself fall into my bed and resting my eyes for a moment. "Maybe I should tell him" I groaned softly looking up at my ceiling.

I reached for my phone opening to click my contacts, although I pause. I shouldn't do this. I thought a bit disappointed I'm myself setting my phone down to rest my eyes soon after falling asleep.

The sun shinned through the uncovered bits from nezukos window, her alarm gone off making a loud and quick beeping noise. Nezuko reached her hand turning it off, the alarm clock read "12:25pm and she stood up yawning looking around her room she reached for her phone holding it gently typing her password. "Huh?" She said seeing a text from Zenitsu, reading. "Hey nezuko there's something I need to tell you". She looked down at it counfused but replied.

Nezuko: "what do you want to tell me??"

Zenitsu: "ah I wanna tell you in person could we meet up?"

Nezuko: "What? You can't just text me?"

Zenitsu: "I- uhm, it's complicated please can we just meet up?"

Nezuko: "I guess, just meet me at the park"

Nezuko placed her phone in her pocket, yawning softly she walked over to her closet grabbing a hoodie she slipped on and a pair of baggy jeans. She reached to her drawer grabbing a pair of socks and slipping them on as she sat. She sighed softly looking down at her hands. She stood from her spot walking out, she put her shoes on quietly.

"Nezuko? Where are you going" Tanjiro asked his tone quiet and soft yet he still startled nezuko.

"I- uhm.. ah I was just going out for a walk" nezuko replied anxiously.

"Hm, if you say so.." Tanjiro replied, suspicious of her but he just brushed it off and walked away.

Nezuko sighed as he walked away she slung a bag over her shoulder and walked out. She looked up at the beautiful blue sky with the fluffy clouds slowly waving above, the tree leaves moving softly in the wind. She looked around reluctantly walking along the path, soon she began to speed up.the park wasn't a far walk she had been there in no time but Zenitsu hadn't just yet.

"Ah! Nezuko-chan!" Zenitsu called arriving minutes after nezuko.

"Zenitsu what did you want to tell me..?" Nezuko asked.

"Ahh, I uhm lied about me and daki dating-" Zenitsu said softly and anxiously

"Ah, Why?!" Nezuko replied.

"I wanted to make you jealous." Zenitsu groaned looking down feeling a bit bad.

Nezuko looked a little shock, but she had been jealous. Should I tell him... She thinks looking to her side, she took a breath and looked at him.

"I lied to." She said looking to her left away from Zenitsu embarrassed "and honestly I was jealous..I suppose I like you a lot more then I realized.."

Zenitsus eyes widened as he hugged nezuko quickly, she looked up at him a bit shocked for the moment but smiled placing her head on his chest softly, she'd like this. She hugged him tightly the two stood in that post quite some time.

Nezuko softly sighed and smiled at him. The tree leaves moving above them in the wind slowly dropping leaves and petals above them, the cool air swooshed, and the pond was gentle little waves moving through, they looked at each other leaning in for a soft kiss.

Yeah I ended it all there cuz I don't feel like finishing this I will start more stuff not particularly fanfictions though I might write my own stuff I'll still work on fanfictions and I will take recommendations see ya next time 🫶🏾
