Three days,
It's been three days since a particular blond haired male approached Jungwon.
Three days of Jungwon wondering what he did wrong to suddenly make the older male disappear from his daily routine of bothering Jungwon.
Three days of Jungwon's relentless tapping on anything he could get his hands on.
And unfortunately today it become his non stop tapping of the wooden pencil on the desk of their English literature class.
"Oh for godsake Yang Jungwon I swear if you don't stop that tapping," Sunoo groaned, his head lifting up from where it was resting on Sunghoon's shoulder.
"What happened?" The ice skater shot Jungwon a confused look.
It seems like it wasn't only Sunoo who was bothered by Jungwon's non stop clattering.
For Sunghoon's hands were gripping his sweater in slight disturbance."Nothing." Jungwon mumbled though he knew it was far from nothing.
The feline eyed male had no vitality left in his slumping body to explain to Sunghoon that his best friend was the cause of Jungwon's torpor state.
The brown haired ice skater's eyebrows raised in confusion but didn't ponder anymore, instead going back to rubbing circles on Sunoo's back.
Sunoo threw a rare sympathetic look at the younger one.
For Jungwon went straight to Sunoo after Jay left him a state of dismissal. Tears swimming in his eyes by the time he managed to detach his best friend from his make out session with his boyfriend on Jake's couch.
"You poor thing." His pink haired friend pouted, as he ruffled Jungwon's hair.
In rare times like this, Jungwon snuggled into his hyung's touch. The sadness dwelling in his bones, twisting and imprinted into his blood, he felt despondent.
Was this how Jay felt?
After all the times Jungwon had harshly rejected him.
Oh god not to make things worsen, but a sudden flash of Jay's sad smile played and rewinded in Jungwon's mind.
That sad smile, half hopeless half hopeful,
Jungwon was an idiot, there were rare times he would admit it, but this was the most idiotic he had ever been in his 21 years of existence.
Karma's a bitch isn't it?
Sunghoon suddenly shot up out of his chair,
Sunoo and Jungwon both casted a confused look as the older one began rummaging through his backpack.
"Hoon?" Sunoo questioned.
"I gotta go, I need to give Jay his essay back before he kills me." Sunghoon said, hands shaking has he searched through his messy backpack.
"Shit where did I leave it," the poor boy looked like he was on the verge of tears. But that wasn't what Jungwon was worried about, the moment he heard those three letters forming that one name that had been typed and printed into his mind, Jungwon also shot up from his seat.
"I'll give it to him!" He exclaimed, so loudly and abrupt it shocked some of their classmates around them.
Sunghoon froze in his tracks, hands seemingly have founded Jay's essay.
"Jungwon. This is Jay's." Sunghoon looked at the feline eyed male as if he grew a tail,
"Yeah I know, I'll give it to him." Jungwon nodded, his gummy smile suddenly making its appearance.
