Rebirth of khushi

Chapter 4

Next day

Khushi woke up late, because of previous day house cleaning. She took bath and went market to buy necessary things for her house. She return to her house within an hour, cooked afternoon meals and ate. After lunch she called her father's lawyer to came to her parents house with her father's will. She wants know what her father wrote in his will regarding about his house and company. 

Khushi feel disappoint with herself, not being able to take care of her father's company. Arjun worked so hard for the company to achieve at least to get a recognition in business world. But what khushi did? She did nothing, she didn't even know what happened to her father's company and house. She was so busy in pleasing her foster parents and raizada's that she completely forget about her parents, Who gave her life, who always made her feel loved and happy. Her parents must be disappoint with her. She felt ashamed.

Even if her parents are disappointed  with her, they gave her second chance to live her life happily. Because of her selflessness in her previous life may be devi maiyya gave her a second chance. She will be always greatful to them until her last breath. Maybe that's why people says parents love is unconditional. 

In this life she won't be selfless to the people like raizada's and gupta's. They don't deserve her kindness. She will never bow to anyone not even for love. She will take care of her father's company, she will make her father's hard work to be recognized in business world. She won't let his father's hard work go in drain like in her previous life.

She was thinking all of this, at the same time the door ring. She went towards door and opened it.

Her father's lawyer(aniket) stood in front of her with a smile.

"Welcome uncle, how are you and how is your family?"khushi asked him politely.

"I'm fine and my family is also doing good beti, how are you?"aniket asked gently keeping his hand on her head.

"I'm fine uncle, i hope i didn't disturb you?"she said.

"No beti, actually i was waiting for your call from last year. When you turn 19 but i didn't get any call from you" aniket said.

"I was busy with my graduation degree uncle"she said.

"What major you took?"aniket asked.

"B.Tech fashion and lifestyle design"she said.

"That's good beti, you took challenging course instead of easy way. I know every course is different in their own way but if you want survive in fashion industry, you have to be thick skin and i'm really proud of you beti" aniket said.

Don't khushi know about it. Even if she was not a model and fashion designer, how AR staff insulted and humiliated her in her previous life. She every well know because of arnav, the staff took advantage of it. She know arnav didn't know about that but the source of the problems started in her life with him only.

"I know uncle, i like challenges and i will survive"she said confidently.

"If your parents saw you right now, they will be proudest parents. You father would have distribute sweets in whole lucknow" aniket said emotionally.

Aniket is not only arjun's lawyer but also a college best friend. Aniket know arjun only trust him more than anyone in this world. He know no one bother about khushi from arjun's side and he didn't know much about khushi's mother side relatives. He planned to take khushi with him but when sameera cousin sister garima came forward to take khushi, he can't deny them because they are her relatives. Even if he fought for the custody, it will go to her relatives only. He is not related to sameera nor arjun. Arjun also didn't mention anything about khushi's custody and aniket also didn't have any evidence against garima. Aniket gave his phone number to khushi when she went with garima but khishi never called him before today. But, whenever aniket call shashi, he always said khushi is with his sister in delhi and aniket also don't have any other number to contact khushi.

"Khushi, why didn't you call me before today?i was waiting for you call from 11 years "he asked.

" I don't know where i lost your number uncle, after searching in cupboard i finally found your number yesterday"she said.

"I called you foster father to talk with you but he always said you went to delhi" aniket said.

Khushi looked at aniket with confusion. How is that possible? she never went to delhi. All these years, she was staying in lucknow only, then why did shashi lie to aniket uncle?.

"No uncle, i never went to delhi, in fact i never take a step out of lucknow" khushi said.

"Then why did your foster father lied about it? They are treating you well right? Did they abuse you?"aniket asked in worry.

'Not physically but mentally they tortured me uncle' i said to myself.

"I don't know uncle, why did he lied but i never went out of lucknow" khushi said.

"okay, this is the last will of your father, take a look and tell me if you want to change anything" aniket said.

Khushi take the file from aniket with shaking hands.She slowly open the file feeling emotional. The first she saw was her father's letter.

One lone tear escape from her eyes.
