"Oh my god, did you see the new transfer student? He is so freaking handsome. He's like the cutest boy I've ever seen," whispered Amna while walking through the hallway.
"You said the same thing about the previous transfer student," Yannie calmly replied as if this was an everyday thing.
"Yeah, but this time it's different, he's a real hottie. I feel like it's love at first sight," Amna argued."Mhm, you now call the previous transfer student ugly and rude, what happened to the person you once considered prince charming?" said Yannie.
"He ended up being different, I thought he was cool and all but he was just a stuck-up arrogant brat. Can you imagine? I tried to talk to him, and guess what he said? I was too UGLY. He didn't even let me finish my sentence," complained Amna while doubting herself.
"This is exactly why i keep telling you to have some standards and don't go for any random hot guy you see, but you never listen. I hope your impression of the new transfer student stays the same this time," said Yannie.
"I'm sure it will," Amna said weakly under her breath.
...
While the chaotic conversation was going on, the pair soon reached their door room. The rooms in the female dormitory were quite luxurious, as they contained 2 separate king-sized beds, a bathroom, and even a kitchen for private use.
The male dormitory is quite different from the female dormitory. It has 2 bunk beds for a total of 4 students. The building itself is covered with vines and looks dilapidated, contrary to the female dormitory which is in pristine condition.
Directly after classes, students were given an hour of free time to rest and afterward are required to head to their respective clubrooms for their activities.
"Yan, did you notice? Rashid wasn't with the boys earlier, do you know where he's at?" realized Amna.
Yannie, who was busy doing her homework, turned her head and said, "I don't know, he was probably in the bathroom or something."
"Hmm, probably. Anyway, what are we planning to do for the club activity today?"
Yannie pondered "I'm not sure, I've run out of topics to report on. Fewer people are reading the school newspaper nowadays; it's not as famous as before."
"I know right, it's getting annoying. Wait, I have a good idea, how about we write a report on the fourth floor?" suggested Amna.
"Are you dumb? The teachers will kill us for that, it will probably cause us to be suspended. Did you forget about what happened to the boy who wrote an essay on it? He randomly disappeared a few days after getting suspended," worriedly said Yannie.
"That's only because he openly called it out and even cursed out the last principal for restricting the floor, and his disappearance is only rumored."
"The rules also never stated that we couldn't write a report on it. Come on! it'll probably make people interested, and it'll be fun too."
"Tsk fine, but if we get suspended, it's all on you," Yannie was forced to give up her worries and decided to agree.
Amna was overjoyed seeing Yannie finally agree, "That's the spirit. Let's head over to the clubroom when you're done with your work."
