Chapter 2

(Thats Peyton btw)

-Katelynn's pov-

I walked back up to mama Lawley's house from my car, carrying Peyton on one hip and my purse and her diaper bag in the other. I walked inside.

"Mama Lawley?" I called out. I texted her.

Me: Where are you?

Mama Lawley: At the store ill be home in 15, sit tight.

Me: I'm going to put Pey down for a nap.

I walked into the nursery and put my almost sleeping child in the crib. I closed the curtains and walked out taking the baby monitor. Suddenly i bumped into someone.

"Kate?" He asked.

"Kian" I say and tried to walk away.

"WHAT THE HELL KATE!" Kian yelled i rushed over to him covering his mouth.

"My child is in there sleeping you asshole." I smacked his arm.

"Yeah?" He asked. "Is she really yours?"

"Of course you psychopath!"

"How is she your daughter? Your had her nine months after you left me!"

"I cheated on you Kian." I had to lie, he is NOT ready to be a father, and i dont want to explain everything right now.

"What?" He asked.

"Are you deff?"

"With who? When?"

"Doesnt matter, and 2 months before i left." I looked down because of the simple fact that i could see how much this hurts him.

"I loved you, how could you do that to me." He asked tears peering in his eyes.

"Sorry." I say walking away.

"Please tell me this is a joke?" He asked. "I'll forgive you if it is, we can laugh about this."

"ITS NOT SOMETHING WE CAN LAUGH ABOUT AND FORGET!"

"So you're serious?"

"Of course! This is getting too much for me, bye Kian."

"Where are you going, your kids here!"

"Your mother watches Peyton a lot so i can work." I say and walked downstairs.

-Kian's pov-

2 hours later..

I walk downstairs to the kitchen to grab something to eat. As I am in there making my sandwich, then I here my mom in the living room with Peyton.

"Awe you are so cute I loved you since the day you were born." I'm just in here thinking what the fuck. I get pulled out of my thoughts by mom mom talking again. "You are just so adorable you have your mommy's eyes and your daddy's funny faces." Hearing that just made me stop what I was doing right then and there, I walk into the living room.

"What do you mean by having her daddy's funny faces. Do you know who her dad is?" I said walking over to the couch sitting next to them.

"No I don't know who her da-" I cut her off.

"Then how do you know that she gets her funny faces from her dad?"

"Because I have never seen Kate make those faces." I just sit there thinking to myself. "Hey Kian can you watch her for a minute I have to go take a shower."

"Yah sure no problem." I say picking up Peyton, She walks away up the stairs. This is actually my first time holding Peyton, she is so beautiful. She has so many of her mom's features, she had her eye color, hair, and ears. But the other features I couldn't point it out to be her mom. Suddenly she made a funny face, it looked like my famous crab face. (A/N: THE PIC AT THE TOP!!) I made the crab face at her and she immediately started to laugh.

2 hours later..

-Kate's pov-

I walked threw the door quietly and peaked around the corner, Kian is sleeping with Pey on top of his chest. They looked so cute. I walked over and picked up Pey, causing him to try to grab her back, in a protective way. I let him have her, after all i've had her for a year he can have her for a night. I walk upstairs to Mama Lawley's room.

"Did you see them?" she said to me.

"Yah I tried to pick her up to get her ready to go and he grabed her back to him in a protective way."

"Yah he did the same thing to me, I think its really cute." she said with a smile. "Are you ever going to tell him who the dad is?"

"I want to, but then aqgain I wouldn't even know how to tell him." I say looking down. "But I have to get going, she can stay the night so he can spend more time with her and I will come and get her tomorrow after work."

"Alright that sounds good, but Im not going to be home tonight so its just going to be Pey and him."

"Well thats more time for them to bond to see if he is really ready to be her father." I say. "Im going to go downstairs and tell him what to do and all, Ill see you tomorrow after work."

"Alright have fun hun."

"Alright thank you bye." I say with a smile. I walk downstairs and see Pey and Kian on the floor playing with toys. "Hey Kian she is goinjg to sleep over here, but your mom is going out for the night. Do you mind watching her?"

"Yah I don't mind watching her, by the way she is a really good girl." he said smiling at Pey. I walk over to them. "And by the way, I think something died in her dipper."

"Well this is perfect!"

"How is it perfect it stinks." I laughed.

"I mean its perfect because I can show you how to change a dipper." After I taught him how to Change her, feed her, and turn the baby monitor on, I left and went to bed as soon as got home.

-Kian's pov-
Once Kate left u took Pey upstairs to put her PJs on her. As I'm changing her dipper she makes that funny face again, to me things are honestly are not adding up. Once I put Pey to bed I walked over and took one last look at her Birth Certificate. There is no way this added up, she said this happened two months before she left, If so Peyton would be older than what she is now. All I can think.
