Chapter one, 𝑨 𝒘𝒐𝒍𝒇 𝒊𝒏 𝒔𝒉𝒆𝒆𝒑'𝒔 𝒄𝒍𝒐𝒕𝒉𝒊𝒏𝒈

︵‿︵‿୨♡୧‿︵‿︵

A brunette boy roamed the hospital halls. He opened the door leading him into the white-walled empty room. He looked around confused. What drew him here? Suddenly dark shadowy figures appeared in front of the boy.

Frightened, he began to backway only to run into more figures. The teenager could now see the figure more clearly. They wore a mask that harbored a green glow to them.

One of the three figures raised their hand and placed it on the boy's face. As he looked into its yellow eyes, something inside him snapped.

Before the hand could get any closer, the boy grabbed it, holding it in place. He was stunned. How did he do that? It was like something was controlling him.

Suddenly, he thrusted his fist into the figure's chest. When he retracted his fist, the figure vanished into smoke. All that remained of it was a single glowing firefly that was in the boy's fist. As he opened his closed fist, the boy watched as the fire-files light began to die.

Seeing what the boy had done, the two remaining figures began to back away from the brunette. He slowly turned around to face them, waiting for their next move. The figures charge at the boy, causing a cloud of dark smoke to appear

Birdie's eyes began to flutter open as a groan had left her mouth. She hated it when her visions came in her sleep. She'd wake up with a pounding headache and a metallic taste in her mouth.

Stiles Stilinski, a name Birdie Alastair could never forget. This wasn't her first vision of the Stilinski boy. She had many before, but none were this dark.

They were friends, best friends to be exact, but that all changed the moment she was sent to Eichen's house. The day she disappeared without any explanation.

She became a ghost that will forever haunt the boy.

Birdie kicked off her blanket and began to make her way out of the room. As she walked the halls, Birdie refused to acknowledge the other patients who passed by. Birdie wasn't a talker, she was an observer, a fly on the wall you could say. She almost knew everything about everyone, but no one really knew anything about her. Just her name and the rumors that followed.

And of course, she wasn't liked by anyone. She'd pick fights with other patients and sometimes with the nurses.

As Birdie began to walk toward the bathroom door a hand suddenly blocked her path. "What are you doing? You're supposed to wait in your room" After getting into a fight with another patient yesterday, Birdie had to be supervised for the next twenty-four hours.

Birdie let out a scoff as she pushed the arm away from her "Fuck off, Lana"

The nurse smirked at the girl. "What? Rough morning? Have one of your "visions" this morning?" she mocked.

"Yeah, it was a vision of me fucking your husband" Birdie noticed the smirk on the woman's face drop as she walked into the bathroom.

The nurse glared at Birdie. "You have two minutes"

Birdie rolled her eyes, so fucking generous she thought to herself. She walked over to a sink that was less dirtier than the rest and began to splash cold water onto her face. Not even an unpleasant conversation with Lana could get that vision out of her head.

The vision left a permanent chill in Birdie's spine. It felt tainted, like something dark and evil was behind it.

As she looked up at her reflection in the mirror, Birdie let out a gasp, the figure from her vision was behind her. When she spun around, the dark shadow suddenly disappeared.

In a panic, Birdie began to back out of the room. She quickly opened the bathroom door and pushed past Lana, who was now calling out to the girl as she speed-walked down the hallway.

Birdie never feels fear, but in that moment she was terrified. Seeing something out of her consciousness right in front of her eyes, that's never happened to the teenager, until now.
