At Lunch Time

Manik comes to Nandini's desk and asked her if she is ready. Nandini nodes and both of them left for lunch. Cabir saw them leaving together 

Cabir thinks, "Manik and Nandini are going together for lunch? I checked with Rose there is no client lunch meeting so it's just a casual lunch for them. What is Manik doing? He knows Abhi love Nandini and if he sees this, he will take it all wrong. I can't let Nandini come in between two brother; no girl is worth breaking a brothers bond. Abhi's office

Bhai knows I love Nandini but he still asked her out for a lunch date. He didn't even thought to talk to me first. Nandini looked so happy, I should be happy for her but why bhai why?

Manik took Nandini to a 7 start hotel roof top restaurant for lunch. The whole restaurant was empty; Nandini looked at him confused, Manik just blinked his eyes and asked her to lead the way.

Manik, it's all empty. Are you sure you reserve us the table? Looks like they are closed? asked Nandini 

I reserved the whole rooftop for us Nandini. I didn't want any distraction, said Manik 

Nandini looked at him shocked. Manik hold her hand and bring her to the middle table and pulled the chair for her. Nandini gave a small smile and sat down. 

I know Nandini you must be feeling overwhelmed but I want us to have a fresh start. I know we didn't start on a good note but I owe you my life. You saved me and I behaved like an animal with you. So, I want to apologize for that night and thank you for saving my life, said Manik 

Nandini looked at his eyes and was shocked to see sincerity. She herself was confused with Manik's behavior; what is he planning? Is he is planning to make her fall for him, why this sincerity in his eyes. 

It's okay Manik. I also didn't give you chance in the beginning. So, let's start fresh. Friends? Nandini asked forwarding her hand to him. Manik chuckle and shook her hand 

Well, Miss. Assistant we can sure be friends but we can't be only friends, said Manik 

Nandini was shocked with his direct approach but ignore his comment and just focused on her food. After finishing her food Nandini was about to get up but Manik held her arm.....

What? asked Nandini 

Manik cleaned the corner of her lips with his thump. Nandini's eyes grew bigger with sudden proximity

After a week

Manik was showering Nandini with expensive gifts, flowers, lunch and dinner dates. Nandini was feeling overwhelmed. The whole office was quite shocked to see the monster boss following Nandini like a love sick puppy. Nandini also didn't leave any chance she made sure she reacted to all his attention the way he wanted. On the other side Cabir was getting frustrated because Manik was not leaving Nandini for even a single second hence the attack he was planning was was still pending
