You wake up, the sun is already shining as you sit up in Zepherus' bed. You yawn, slowly rising to your feet, adjusting your wings for the needed balance. You stretch, tracing your fingers over the bandages he wrapped yesterday.

"Ouch! Why does the pan need to be so hot?", you hear Zepherus yelp.

You follow the sound of his voice, leading you to the kitchen.

"Hey", you say, seemingly startling the man you thought was scared of nothing. "Good morning dove. I didn't wake you up, did I ", he asks, soft as usual. "Nah, you didn't", you calm him down, then asking "Did you burn yourself?" "A bit, no biggie though, dove.", he replies, flipping the pancakes. "Can I see, I might be able to help", you offer, not realizing how much you care for him. "No need, it's just a little annoying, nothing else", Zepherus waves it off, not yet knowing your stubbornness.

"Zeph please, it's the least I can do to pay you back after yesterday.", You explain, receiving a laugh from him.

"If you insist", he says, showing you the burn on his hand. He's right about it being 'no biggie', but you still want to help. He was so kind yesterday, so you should heal it.
And just maybe, you do care about his wellbeing. So you grab his hand with one of yours, hovering other one slightly above the burn. Your hands start glowing and you can tell from Zephs surprised look that the pain is gone.

"You can heal?", he asks you, still surprised at the burn vanishing this easily. You nod, snatching a pancake the moment he takes a second look at his hand.

But you don't eat it fast enough as Zepherus starts laughing at the view of you standing there, pancake hanging from your mouth. The sun is shining onto his face, his black and fluffy hair with white streaks , illuminating the whites. His brown eyes seem to be slightly glowing from the sunshine and his lips are a bit more red and seem a little bit more soft than usual. But why are you looking at his lips? Why are you longing for his smile as if it's a drug?
It's been like this for a few months as well. Hoping to see his annoying, great smile, to get into close combat and for him to call you dove.

Are you perhaps -? No! You can't be! Zepherus is your enemy. He's a darn villain, and you swore to be the hero the world needs.

But the agencies don't want you due to the way you think. And other heroes play against you. No! You swore to take Venus place!

And yet, just maybe, you can live this lie about feelings and relations for just a few more days until you leave.

"Dove, breakfast? Or was that one pancake enough?", A warm, male voice leads your mind back to reality. "Of course breakfast! Who knew you could make such godly pancakes!" You eagerly reply, hurrying to the table, receiving a quick, adoring look from him. He, too, sits down, putting a plate with gold-brown pancakes in front of you "Thank you", you quickly say, not planning on loosing your manners while living with the villain-.. with Zepherus.

He smiles, and you start to eat, enjoying the well done pancakes.

Suddenly you hear something ring and Zepherus' face lights up, happiness sparkling in his eyes. He gets up, grabbing the phone and goes to the hallway to have some privacy. You do hear him talk though, making you grin.

"Hey Ma!—I'm great, thanks, how about you?—I told ya, be careful while sewing—Yeah—Oh, I have a guest—No, I did not kidnap anyone! I'll tell you who, when you—Yeah, I know, Ma—It's Veles—I know, a hero—Ma, they showed up at my door—Ma, they are trustworthy—Yeah—Next week?—But—Fine, I'll warn them though—Yeah—Love you too, Ma"
,he says, almost chirping, in a childish voice.

Then he goes back to the kitchen where you carefully cut another piece of the pancakes. "Sorry 'bout that, that's just my mom. She usually calls to say good night and good morning, but I didn't pick up yesterday.", he explains, smiling again, that stupid, honest smile, similar to the sunshine that makes his hair look so perfect and himself so handsome.

And suddenly you feel guilty as you are probably the reason Zepherus didn't talk to his mother. But his smile is telling you that you don't have to apologize. "Anyway! While talking to my mom, she told me she'd be visiting next week. Don't worry, dove, you don't have to leave, she's fine with you being here. And I am too. -If you don't feel well, I can give you a key to my room that day.", he explains, suddenly nervous, as you assume he realised you might not want to meet his mother.

"Zeph, if your mother is fine with it, I'd personally love to meet her", you explain, attempting to calm him down.
