Me and my sister had been living in the shadows for 2 years now. Lots had changed since the crimson night. The attacks had gotten worse. 17 children died in the past month alone. There had been 22 more nights like the crimson night since the last chapter but they were becoming more frequent now.

Me and my sister wants to get rid of this stupid hunter that had been killing these children. The population was reducing enough to start with because of these crimson nights. All we wanted to do was murder that pathetic hunter.

We wandered over to his little cabin surrounded by the dark oak trees; there was no sound but a tapping we could both hear from inside the cabin. We crept closer towards the crooked window to peer inside. I was disgusted at the sight.

The old Hunter was wearing some sort of bag over his head with only one hole where his right left was. The tapping noise from earlier was from him putting nails into the wall. Though, the thing really scared me and Elizabeth was not the disgusting appearance of the hunter, no, no. There was a dead child in the corner of the room.

The Hunter wasn't moving much so I pulled the gun that I had found a few months ago out of my pocket. I placed one of the few bullets I had left in the chamber of the pistol. I aimed carefully but he moved at the last second causing the bullet to hit him in the arm instead of the head.

He immediately spotted us. I tried to reload the pistol to shoot another shot but he was running towards the window with a knife that had been on a nearby table. Me and Elizabeth ran into a nearby bush to hide. We nervously watched as the hunter stepped outside with a shotgun the size of a newborn baby.

I reloaded the pistol and tried to sim it at the Hunter again but everything went wrong. There was a spider in Elizabeth's hair and it made her scream. The hunter glared over at the bush we were in. He sprinted into and we responded by sprinting away.

We fell into a nearby ditch. The Hunter was still looking for us. But he had lost us for time being. Elizabeth was resting and I was watching the Hunter over the horizon searching through bushes and tall blades of grass. I could only assume he was so reckless because he had lost an arm from my pistol.

I saw a crow next to me. I was starving and there was nothing else. Me and Elizabeth hadn't eaten for 2 whole days. I grabbed the crow and tried to kill it with my hands but it made a loud noise before I could silence it. I looked at the Hunter again but it was too late, He was already running in our direction again.

I dropped the crow and grabbed my sisters hand. We ran faster than ever but the Hunter was gaining on us. I spotted a small shed nearby that we could hide in. We jumped inside and luckily there was a lock on the door.

The Hunter desperately tried to enter. And then my greatest fear emerged. He smashed a hole in the wall of the shed and grabbed my sister. I dropped my pistol in a panic but when I picked it up and loaded it, they were already gone. Words can't explain how devastated I was that I had lost the only person left I had vowed to protect.

I just sat on the floor and cried for about 5 minutes straight. But then a realisation hit me though. The Hunter only had one eye so If I hit him right in that eye, he would be blind and he wouldn't be able to see. I would shoot him straight up but I was out of ammunition but luckily I could still use a sharp stick a I found on the floor in the shed.

I sprinted back to his cabin. He was there. I barged the door open. He stared at me like I was someone mad. He ran for his shotgun but I them the stick at him like a javelin and it went straight through his head. That was far more climatic than I'd expected. I thought it would've just damaged his head but it went straight through it.

I barged through every room looking for my sister but I couldn't find her anywhere. The ground began shaking again. I ran over to a nearby window and the sky had gone crimson once more. I had to get out of the house but there was a barded up room I couldn't get in.

I heard the wood in the walls breaking so I would have no choice but to leave the house. I sobbed as I watched the house fall to pieces. The Hunter had been slaughtered but I could only assume my sister had also taken the same fate. There was nothing left for me now, nothing at all...
