Jisung and Minho are sat across from Chan and Changbin. Minho seems much more professional under the gaze of these two, sitting quietly with his arms folded across his chest. Chan turns to Jisung, raising an eyebrow.

"So... Why do you have a bodyguard, now?" Jisung shifts uncomfortably across from him.

"I don't know, the label just suggested it a few days ago. I figured it couldn't hurt." The blond scratches the back of his neck awkwardly, shooting a look at his bodyguard when he raises his eyebrows at him. Minho gets the message, turning to stare out the window.

Changbin rubs his forehead in exasperation before narrowing his eyes at Jisung. The younger boy shivers under his intense gaze. "They hired you a babysitter," he says, eyes flickering between the two.

"That's not exactly it, I think-"

"You're out of control and even our manager can't get a handle on you. They hired you a babysitter." Changbin looks angry, staring daggers through Jisung. The blond looks down, embarrassed, as Chan scolds Changbin quietly.

Jisung hears Minho draw in a breath next to him and shoots him a look, shaking his head softly. Minho frowns but offers a subtle nod, keeping quiet.

As the four climb out of the car, they're met with screams and camera flashes. Each of the members shows off their most dazzling smile, waving to the fans around them. Jisung can't help but notice the sneers he receives in return.

Minho leans in as they get inside, whispering to Jisung. "Do they really not know the real reason you've got a bodyguard?"

"We all try to steer clear of what the fans think. People can be really negative so we decided early on it'd be easier to just mind our business."

"Don't you think this stuff is their business, Jisung?" Minho looks worried again, placing a hand on the younger boy's shoulder. Jisung scoffs and shoves his hand away.

" That isn't your business. Just stand behind me and look scary, alright?" The blond sends him the most scathing look he can manage, trying to ignore the pit in his stomach, and goes to find his stylist.

Luckily Minho keeps his mouth shut. He doesn't mention it further to Jisung or mention it to Chan or Changbin. He just sits nearby and watches over him with worry clear on his face. The expression makes Jisung nauseous. The room seems to grow colder when their manager lets herself in. As Minho looks in her direction, Jisung watches in the mirror as the warm concern shifts to a cold, blank expression. A similar shift happens somewhere inside of the younger boy but he smiles at her regardless.

"Han! Chan! Changbin! How are my boys doing this evening?" She smiles brightly, clapping her hands together. Chan shoots back a bright smile.

"We're fantastic. It's always such a pleasure to see you!" He stands to greet her, hugging her tightly. Jisung keeps his mouth shut. She exchanges pleasantries with the other two before turning her full attention to the blond. "Can we talk outside for a minute?"

"Yeah, I guess so." He pushes himself out of his chair. As Minho moves to do the same, she holds her hand up. "Ah, Minho, that won't be necessary."

He tilts his head in confusion but leans back again, crossing his arms over his chest. "Just call me if you need me, Jisung," he says softly. Jisung nods before following her into the hall.

"We'd really love to see some more antics of yours tonight," she starts, smiling brightly at him. "We were thinking maybe some technical issues during soundcheck could really set you off, or something like that." She gestures vaguely, the smile never faltering for a second. Jisung feels uneasy.
