Today was finally the day that my friends and I were finally going to be able to see our favorite band! I'm super excited and can barely contain myself! I quickly get myself together, combing my long silky hair out, and putting on my best outfit! I grab my backpack and get my stuff together, right before I hear a knock on my door. "IM COMING!" I yell, as I run down the stairs, making sure to not drop all of my belongings.
"You guys made it!" I said with excitement to my friends, Hasumi, and Saki. "You were a bit on the slow side today, Umi" said Hasumi. "Im sorry, I couldn't figure out which blouse I wanted to wear today." I said whining.
We made out way to the train station, and we were getting ready to catch our train. "Hey, is it that Tatsuki?" Saki asked. "Yeah and it looks like he's with his girlfriend, and another one of his friends." I said. "We should go say hi to them!" Hasumi said as she grabbed Tatsuki's hand and mine. "Hey Hikari!" Tatsuki's girlfriend , Suri said waving at us. "Hi Suri!" I said." We all exchanged some conversation before we all hopped on the train together. Turns out, they're headed to the concert as well!
As we exited the train, the station was filled with the sounds of trains coming and leaving, chatter, and the intercom letting people know their train has arrived. I am so excited! I heard people talking about the concert, and how excited they were as well. You just know the concert is going to be great when they have such a large audience.
"Hey guys, do you want to stop somewhere and get some food before we head over to the amphitheater?" Hasumi asked? "I am a bit hungry...." Replied Saki. I wouldn't mind food at all, I thought ass I nodded me head in agreement. "OKAY! Let's do it!" I said with enthusiasm.
We had stopped at this cute little cafe that was decorated in tropical colors. It really felt like I was by the beach. "What can I get for you ladies?" An old woman said as we approached the counter. We began ordering what we wanted and waited in the pick up line to grab our food. "ORDER 27!" Said the lady.
We grabbed our food and ate as we made our way to the amphitheater. "Do you think we will be able to get their autographs?" Hasumi asked with hope in her eyes. "I sure hope so!" Saki responded.
We had finally made it to the amphitheater after about thirty minutes of walking. "Uhhh... guys, did we pre order tickets?" Hasumi asked. "No, why? We were going to order window tickets...." Saki saiid. "It says we can only get in if we pre-order tickets." Hasumi says with a baffled look on her face. "So what does this mean?" I asked. "It means that we don't get to see the concert" Hasumi responded.
We had headed back home and started browsing through the band's website to see when, and where their next concert was. "There is one more concert left on their tour, but its 12 hours away..." Hasumi said. "So that would mean we have to fly, right?" I asked. "Yeah, but flying isn't cheap, Hikari." Hatsumi replied. "Okay....well how much is a ticket?" I asked her. "Let me check..." Hatsumi said as she searched up flights on her phone. "Umi...I wont say anything, take a look at these prices." She said as she handed me and Saki the phone. "WHOA! There is NO WAY we can ever get that much money without picking up a part time job." I responded shocked. "Yeah..." She responded. "So what are we going to do?" Saki asked puzzled. "Maybe is a good idea if we pick up part time jobs anyways....what if we worked at the bakery?" Hatsumi I asked. "I mean that's a good idea, but its not really my cup of tea..." Saki responded. "Okay, so then what do you want to do?" Hatsumi asked. "I've always wanted to open up my own clothing store.....so whaat if we did a booth sale?" Saki responded. "That is a good idea, but what would Hikari and I sell?" Hatsumi answered back. "Hikari likes to draw, and you like to bake! Easy fix!" Saki said with a smile on her face. "Let's give it a shot!" I said to Hatsumi. "It's not a terrible idea..." said Hatsumi reluctantly. "Let's do it." She said.

"BUY ON GET ONE FREE!" Hatsumi shouted as people passed by our booth table. "How much have we made so far?" I asked Saki. "Not enough..." she responded with a sad look on her face. I sighed. "Maybe we should consider just getting a part time job at the cafe..." I said. Hatsumi's face lit up

"One House Special, with a Ice Latte, and one Egg Sandwich served Itoh a side of fruit, and oolong tea." Hasumi said as she served a table of 2.
'I can't keep up with all of these orders!" I said to Saki. "I know! I don't know how Hasumi is keeping up with them." She responded.
"Guys! I need two more House Special's, 2 toasted cinnamon raisin bagels, and an order of hash browns!" Hasumi said, handing us the order slip.
I quickly rushed to the kitchen to prepare the food. "Saki, do you think that we will be able to make the money on time?' I asked her. "I think so, we have a month and a half until the concert. As long as we keep working, it will pay off!" She responded
I rushed the food out to Hasumi, so she could take the orders out to the customers. "Here you go!" I said as I handed her the tray. She quickly rushed off with the tray, delivering the food to the customers. "Umi, you can go on break now if you'd like." The manager said.
I walked outside and sat on a bench and pulled out my phone too check the bands page. "You're into "The Costal Freaks" huh?" Said a voice. I looked up to see the boy, the boy Tatsuki was with at the train station. "Yeah, I think they're pretty cool. Do you have a problem with it?" I asked. He chuckled and nodded his head. "Did you go to their concert last week?" He asked me with curiosity. I let out a big sigh. "No...we didint realize we were supposed to pre-order our tickets, so we wasted our time trying to get there, and now here we are trying to work our butts off to save up some money to go see them some 12 hours away, in a different city." I said irritatedly. "Man, that really sucks. How can I help you guys get the money?"
HE WAS OFFERING TO HELP US SEE THE COSTAL FREAKS? SOMEONE WAS ACTUALLY OFFERING US HELP? He must've seen a change in my emotions because according to him, my face turned read and it looked like I was on crack. "Are you okay?" He asked me concerned. "Yeah I'm good! Im just not sure how you'll be able to help us..." I said. "Umi! It's time for you to get back to work, I'm on break now." Saki said as she came out. "Oh! You're that dude from the train station." She added. "Do I know you?" The boy asked puzzled. "I dont think so, I've just seen you around town." Saki responded. "What's your name anyways?" I asked him. "Haruko, what about you?" Im very impressed with his level of politeness, he's soo kind! "My nme is Umi, and that is Saki! Our other friend Hasumi, is inside finishing up her shift." Haruko smiled, before he spoke. "Well, if your cafe needs some live entertainment, I can probably help out a bit." He said. "Whoa! Really?" Saki said. "Of course! I play a little bit of the guitar, but not too much." He seemed so genuine and eager too help. "Why dont you come inside, you can talk to the manager about it while he's here." I said as I walked inside to finish my shift.
