Merripen had been stress baking for a few hours now. Overwhelmed by the bad grade she'd gotten on her most recent report she had immediately gone back to her dorm room which unsurprisingly had no Blake in it, she seemed to be going out every night to her boyfriends dorm, being honest with herself, she was feeling a bit lonely without anyone to talk to the past day, besides her teacher of course.
Sighing, she pulls the muffins out of the oven and sets them to cool for fifteen minutes.
Knocking at the door. She wasn't expecting anyone so she was confused, tossing off her mittens she cautiously walked over and cracked open the door, glancing up for a second and noticed the spark of blue dye in the mess of black hair, Ingram Bleakstone.
"Ingram?"
"Hey, Merri, you ready to help me study? You said we'd do it at your dorm since Blake wouldn't be in."
Furrowed brows confirmed his suspicions, she'd forgotten. Opening the door wider and letting Ingram in she skitters about trying to clean and make the dorm at least seem presentable.
"Oh! I knew I was forgetting something! I'm so sorry Ingram i'd totally forgotten, i feel horrible, i just -"
"It's okay," Ingram interrupts her worrying, puts a hand onto her shoulder causing her to stop and turn to look up at him a bit disheveled, "Are you feeling alright? You look worse for wear if I'm being honest."
Straightening up her posture, her mouth pulling into a line,"I - I had gotten a D- on my essay! I don't know what i did to mess it up so bad, i thought it was such a good report! It's been like this for the past week, and oh i just don't know what to do!"
Her eyes watering and the tip of her nose turning red, the tears slip through and she roughly scrubs at them as she hiccups, the floodgates opening.
Ingram shuffling mildly uncomfortable, he doesn't know how to deal with people crying, so he gently pats her back and sits them down on the nearest couch. Letting her cry it out onto his shoulder he offers soft reassurances into her ear and rubs circles into her back.
After the sobbing slowly stopped her white knuckled grip on Ingram's shirt released.
"I'm sorry I'm such a mess right now."
"Don't apologize, you did nothing wrong. If it makes you feel better I totally failed at my still portrait."
Humming softly Merripen smiles into Ingram's shoulder. It didn't make her feel better but it was the thought that counted. Pulling back her eyes immensely red and splotchy around the corners making the green eyes pop. Curling her lip into a tight smile, she pulled Ingram in for a hug and clung to him for a moment before releasing him.
"Thanks for trying to cheer me up, Ini. We should really start stud-" Cutting herself off Merripen's breath is stolen from her from how close up to Ingram's face she is. She could see the golden flecks in his eyes and all of his beauty marks, gulping, her mouth suddenly dry. The heat coming off of her face as she openly stares into his eyes.
"Merri?," Almost sensually deep, Ingram counts the freckles on Merripen's face, as many as there are stars in the night sky. Scanning her face, going from her eyes to her lips in a triangular pattern, his hand now resting on her upper thigh.
Ingram's lewd thought provoking voice running in her mind, deep slow breathing between the two of them, Merri closes her eyes as Ingram moves in.
She could feel his lips ghost hers, his breath on her face.
"I need you to say yes if you want this, i don't want to be that guy who takes advantage of your sensitive state."
With a second of hesitation, a thought crossed her mind, if she did indeed want this. She did. She really needed it, Blake wasn't home and wouldn't be for a while, they had the dorm to themselves.
