III

-this is a time skip to a few days later-

Douma has been struggling to find food. Men or women he cannot find for some odd reason. Even the villages appear to be dead. Whenever he finds a catch it's close to sunrise so it is nowhere near the risk.

-Akaza Point of View-

Douma is more aggressive lately. This isn't like him at all..he's not irritating me anymore, actually I'm the one irritating him somehow.

Douma had been walking down the corridor and we both stopped and looked at each other. "Akaza." Douma said bluntly. He has never been this blunt towards me. He usually has the annoying fake smile and ecstatic tone. Its like that's gone now. I can't believe this is still Douma. "Douma." I replied. For some reason I felt the urge to start a conversation. I know I will regret this later. "What has gotten into you lately? You're not yourself." I said in a slightly concerned tone. "I'm fucking hungry, Akaza. I haven't eaten in days. It doesn't help that whenever I almost get a human the sun starts to rise or Nakime strikes the fucking Biwa." He said in an irritated tone. Wait...Douma is irritated? I thought he didn't have emotions. "Men and women?" I asked. "No, I've been looking for fucking rabbits. Yes, I've been looking for men and women!" He has snapped at me. "I was just asking. There's no reason to get all emotional on me." I said calmly. "Fuck off." He then walked away.

He's never been so cold towards me. He's always up my ass asking me how I am or if he could go on a mission with me. I guess I could try and bring him a human. Of course not a female, I'm not going that far for him, but a human. Perhaps he'll stop being so irritated and aggressive to everyone then. I don't blame him for his aggression. I'd be angry too if I hadn't eaten in days.

The sun was setting so in an hour or so I could get a catch. Hopefully.

-Douma Point of View-
(This will be the same but with Douma's opinions and point of view.)

I was walking down the corridor and it seems Akaza had noticed me. "Akaza." I said, hoping it would just be a single word interaction. "Douma." He replied. His voice was so...I don't know the emotion to describe it. I just didn't like it right now. I could tell he was gonna strike conversation. I waited for him to open up that smart mouth of his. "What has gotten into you lately?" He said to me. "You're not yourself." He added to his recent sentence. Why was he asking? "I'm fucking hungry, Akaza. It doesn't help that whenever I do almost get a human the sun starts to rise or Nakime strikes her Biwa." I said. I swore for once. Well, I swore in front of someone for once.

Akaza continued asking questions I then hear him say "emotional" I wanted to slap him right there, but I couldn't bring myself to do it. "Fuck off" I said before walking off. Who does he think he is? I'm a higher rank! Calling me emotional. The audacity this man has.
