~*This story is intended as a sequel to my fic Three Headed Serpent. However, it can be read as a standalone OR as a set with THS and Venomous. I understand that Next-Gen stories aren't everybody's thing, so if it's not something you want to read, please move on and don't leave mean or ugly comments. Thanks!! ~*Skyla

First Year
Harmonia
She was acutely aware of the other children that were staring at her, either rolling their eyes or raising an eyebrow at her inability to stop fidgeting. She was both nervous and excited to see what house she'd get sorted into. Her mother, father and one of her uncles had been Slytherins, but her aunts and her other uncle had been a Hufflepuff, a Ravenclaw and a Gryffindor respectively. She felt a hand grip her shoulder, pulling her to turn around.
"No need to be nervous, Moni. I'm sure whatever house you get sorted into will be just as well. Besides, even if we don't get the same house, we'll still hang out all the time." Her best friend, Samuel, smiled a big, toothy grin at her, his golden-brown eyes crinkling at the edges where his messy brown locks fell in his face.
"I guarantee she gets Ravenclaw. Moni's super smart, and she's always making us study back home. I'm gonna get Gryffindor, no doubt about it." The redhead puffed out his chest, hands on his hips as he proclaimed what he thought he'd get. "All Weasleys end up in Gryffindor."
"Wasn't your mum a Ravenclaw, though Phil?" Sam's sister, Eleanor, peered around the redhead, her chestnut ponytail bobbing over her shoulder.
"Yeah, what of it?" Phillip dropped his bravado, his blue eyes landing on the brunette with a questioning gaze.
"It means you have an even chance of landing in either house, knobhead." Eleanor thumped him on the forehead. She was significantly taller than Harmonia and the boys, and Phillip glowered up at her.
"I don't think that's how it works, Ella." Harmonia stifled a giggle as her friends continued to argue the matter.
"Will you four shut up already? For Merlin's sake, it's like you're in your own ridiculous little world." The boy in front of her whipped around, sneering down at them, and Harmonia suddenly felt cold. He was slightly taller than her, but he had the same icy blue eyes as both her and her brother. His dark hair rivaled the chocolate color of her sister, and his face reminded her eerily of her own father. "What're you staring at, blondie?"
"N-nothing. Sorry..." She hung her head, glancing back at her friends, eyes wide. The dark-haired boy tsked, rolling his eyes and turning back around.
"Phillip Weasley." The redheaded woman that she knew to be Phil's great-aunt Matilda called out from the scroll, smiling when the copper-haired boy walked proudly up to the podium and took his seat.
Almost immediately, they all heard the sorting hat called out. "Oh, another Weasley? Better be... GRYFFINDOR!"
Phil hopped down from the podium, pointing at his friend's and mouthing 'told you so' before making his way to the red-flagged table. Harmonia chewed her lip nervously as the line of eleven-year-olds adjusted.
"Eleanor Sallow." Ella practically skipped up the podium, her freckled face stretching with her grin. The sorting hat took a second on her, seeming to take into account a number of things.
"SLYTHERIN." Ella laughed heartily before she bounded over to the green-rimmed table, quickly joining a group of girls that were clapping.
"Don't worry, Moni. It'll all work out." Sam took her hand, squeezing it tightly.
