30- A Traitor

During their date,

"So, when did you start liking me?"

"From the start? You remember I asked for a photo when we first met , right? I had a crush on you since then." Sachiko said quietly which made Satoru chuckle fondly.

"So, like a love at first sight?" He asked playfully.

"...I...I didn't say that.."

"Why? I thought you like me."
Satoru pulls her a bit closer to him. When Sachiko didn't respond to him, he pouted.
"Come on, don't act like you just didn't pull me in for a kiss at the cinema."

Sachiko hit his arm in embarrassment and Satoru faked a cry.

"Dramatic.."

"You like me." Satoru said with a grin.

Sachiko was not surprised at his egoistic grin.

"What about you?" She returned the question.

"Hm? When I start liking you?" Satoru asked.

She nodded.

"Well, I've always thought you're cute when you blush. It's like you're a different person when you're with me like this."

"What kind of different?"

"Like you blasted the head of a curse that one time on a mission yet you're confused about how to use a katana properly when you train with me?" Satoru said in a playful tone.

"It's because I like you that I wanted to spend more time with you.." Sachiko blurted out."Do you have to call me out right now?"

"No, but can you repeat that? I didn't hear that properly. " Satoru said.

"I just wanted to spend more time with you training because...I like you." She said quietly.

Only when she saw Satoru's lips curled up into a teasing smile, she realized Satoru was just making her say it out loud again.

She smacked Satoru's arms at the realization and she noticed there was no infinity between them. Whether when she pulled him into a kiss or when she hit his arm earlier or when she pulled him into a hug back then, there was no infinity to stop her. Satoru had brought down his infinity completely.

Satoru yelped and faked a cry when Sachiko smacked his arm. But, when he saw Sachiko's dazed expression, he asked, "What's the matter?"

"No..it's just that I realized there was no infinity.."

That made Satoru laugh sofly, "Now why would I want infinity between us.." he rubbed his fingers on her lips, "when I could kiss you  and you could kiss me back?"

"..."

"Satoru...we're in public. You can't kiss me here."

Satoru chuckled before pulling her in for a brief kiss.

"No, I can. And I will." Satoru said with a cocky grin.

Sachiko groaned but she figured she didn't dislike this at all.

After the date, Satoru took her back to the dorms.

"See you tomorrow." Satoru winked.

"See you tomorrow." Sachiko said with a blush.

"Oh, right, wanna come tomorrow afternoon? We can go somewhere together for lunch after training Megumi." Satoru asked.

"So, it's another date?"

"I think kissing you three whole times during our first date answers that." Satoru said with a chuckle.
