"Hey guy's, this is Kamari the new student. Kamari this is Stella, Addison and Mason" Isa exclaimed, pointing to each one of them.

I gave them a shy smile and waved my hand. The girl whose name is Stella squealed getting up and hugging me.

I immediately hugged her back, letting out a small laugh.

While the others just chuckled.

I sat in the cafeteria, surrounded by Isa, Stella, Maddison, and Mason.

We were all laughing and chatting when suddenly, a girl with cake-faced makeup and barely any clothing approached our table, with two other girls.

Stefanie stopped in front of me and gave me a once-over before speaking.

"Listen, new girl," she said, her voice dripping with condescension.

"I don't know if anyone's told you yet, but you need to stay away from the Diaz brothers. They're mine."

I was taken aback by her words. Geez I only met them a few days ago chill.

I couldn't believe that someone was warning me to stay away from them.

But of course, Stefanie and her minions had no idea that the Diaz brothers were my brothers.

Before I could respond, Isa jumped in. "Excuse me, but who are you to tell Kamari who she can and can't talk to?"

Stefanie rolled her eyes.

"Please, like I need your opinion. Just stay out of my way, and we won't have any problems."

With that, she turned on her heel and sauntered away, her minions following closely behind.

I let out a sigh of relief and turned to my friends.

"Thanks," I said, grateful for their support.

"Of course," Maddison replied with a smile.

"We've got your back, no matter what."

I was about to say something when the bell rang.

Isa hooked her arm in mine and started heading to class. Are we even in the same class now?

"Why did Stefanie only now come at me I've been here for a week already," I asked Isa, she just let out a sigh and continue walking.

"Madison and Mason are twins like you know already. They only came today yes? Stefanie is there older sister but was held back a year, so that's why she's in our year."

Now it made sense. And here I thought my life was messy.

I walked into the class not even knowing what I had now.
