After the spot of lunch, Beau sat in Professor Quirrel's Defense Against the Dark class. Keeping an eye on him closely as he noted his nervous mannerisms and the way he stumbled over simple words while trying to teach.

"How could anyone be afraid of him...?", Beau thought to herself. Looking back towards Cedric who seemed to be trying to lock eyes with Professor Quirrell. Blair simply took notes on what information she could. Her and Kara sat next to one another in class while Cedric and Fiona sat together.

"Now, w...would anyone like to share their n...notes with the class?", Quirrel held up a shaky hand as he glanced around the room. Blair quickly, without missing a beat, raised her hand. And he offered her a smile as he nodded and levitated the notes up onto the chalkboard. The ink seemingly disperses itself onto the board for the others to copy.

"Wonderful work Ms. Birmingham! Ten points to Ravenclaw!, He smiled happily.

Beau tapped her fingers on her desk as Kara glanced over at her, up from her quill and notebook. She raised an eyebrow out of curiosity, following her eyes to see that she was still staring at Quill!

"Tryin' to get him to break a nervous sweat are ya? Bloody Brilliant! Maybe then he can go on a tangent about that vampire he's been tryin' to ward off with the garlick!", Kara said with a smirk, glancing over at Fiona.

"Tch, you know that tall glass of water won't set foot in Quill's! I think it's enough reason to believe we may have a vampire in our midst.", The trio of girls glanced over at the table to Beau's left where Vivian sat. She gently stroked her quill against the paper, forming a black blotted heart.

"Hey Juliette, Sorry I guess Quill has a No Romeo policy. Guess you'll need to try runnin' into him during mealtime!", Kara teased the girl. Vivian looked up as she said this, blushing as she went to set her quill down. Only for the ink on the heart to run slightly down the page.

"H... He isn't a vampire... right Dahlia?", Vivian asked softly, looking over to her tablemate where the girl sat with her arms folded and her eyes closed. She stirred slightly before looking around. Yawning as she says,

"He ought'a have a heart first!"

The girls giggled to themselves as Beau too tried her best to laugh. She couldn't help but notice how Dahlia seemed to catch her eye when she delivered her line. The group hadn't noticed Quirrel make his way over to the group.

"Question for me ladies?", He asked in an overly kind tone. The group went silent, with the exception of Beau who narrowed her eyes at him. Nodding as she asked,

"Professor, how did you get that turban on your head?"

"W...Why it was a...g...gift! Given to me by an African P....rince! He gave it to me as a gesture for how good I did at warding off a zombie!", Quirrel muttered. Smiling at her as he nodded his head.

Beau glanced over to look at Cedric, who was seemingly too busy in mid conversation with a group of ravenclaw girls. She sighed before she caught Quirrel's eyes. She noted how his nervous smile faded for a moment. A green glimmer briefly shined in his eyes. Beau's eyebrows raised briefly before it seemed to disappear in an instant blink! His nervous smile spread once more as Beau felt an uneasy feeling.

"If y...you...would please l...leave the ch...chatter for outside the c...classroom, That would be m...most a...ppreciated!", He said. Nodding before turning to walk towards his board.

Beau gently ran her hand through her hair, going awfully silent much to the curiosity of the girls sitting around her. Quirrel's voice seemed like a mere background echo as she stared at her journal.
