Waking up was hard, God I loved to sleep.
As I rolled out of bed flashbacks from last night came back to me.

Gliding blades across my skin
I looked to my right and saw Lili passed out.
I walked down to the lobby for breakfast thoughts ringing in my head.
So many people self harm.
Why do I?
I don't even know, I have a good life and a lot of friends. Lots of hobbies and interests. Lots of life goals and I didn't care about people's opinions.
And why on earth was I mad that Kian Lawley wanted to talk to me!
I scolded myself while I ate a bagel with cream cheese.
Then I remembered all the times people screwed me over and how I don't have a lot of love or trust in my heart to give.
I walked back upstairs to 37 new messages, all from Kian

What was I even going to say.
Just the truth I guess.
At 11:30 I started getting ready, black leggings and a Georgia Bulldogs sweatshirt. I slipped on my converse and whipped my hair into a sloppy bun I shuffled out of the room.
I waited in the lobby for a couple minutes then saw Kian walk through the door.
He smiled a little bit and I tried to smile back.
"I like you, I think, and I want to see you more and I don't know what you want me to do or whatever but just give me a chance" he asked with a small frown.
I changed my mind.
"Ok" I smiled and laughed because this whole time he hasn't even seen the real me just a tired grumpy version of myself.
He asked to go for lunch and I agreed telling him I wanted to change.
I changed my shirt into a grayish/blue waffle knit shirt and left the top unbuttoned a little bit. I checked my face and hair and grabbed my phone.
We went to Taco Bell and I got a Mexican pizza - or at least that's what I call it.
We talked about a lot of stuff and I decided to be myself with him. I laughed a lot and smiled, on the way back we turned the radio on just as some crazy Latin music came on.
Kian tried to turn it of but I moved his hand away and started singing random Spanish words and dancing.
He stared at me for a while and then started laughing.
We got back to the hotel and made some plans for the next day.
Lili was sitting in bed with her phone.
We talked about what happened and I asked what was going on with her and JC. She told me about how they are becoming better and better friends and that they were going to the pool tomorrow. Kian and I were going to go to the movies and hang out in his hotel room but I called him and asked if we could go with Lili and JC. I also said to invite Joseph. He said that was fine and that we could still go to a movie later.
When the next day came and Lili woke me up I dragged myself downstairs to eat not even caring that I had on short shorts and my makeup was all smeared.
"Hey"
Shit, I turned around to see kian right behind me.
"Hi"
I ignored the fact that my bra was sticking out of my tank top.
A lot of people were staring.
I told Kian I was going to go fix myself and he just nodded and laughed.
I walked into the room and looked at Lili. She laughed at me for awhile then she went into the bathroom to change.
I got ready for the pool, packing my suit, sunscreen and towels. When we came downstairs Kian, JC and JJ were all there waiting for us.
The drive was fun until Joseph asked the question I haven't even thought about. "So Kian and Cori, like what are you guys" I didn't say anything and just left it to Kian. Bad choice. We both sat there waiting for each other to answer. Finally I said that we were just friends and I left it at that.
The pool was great. It was so sunny and warm and the water was not too cold but it was still refreshing. We all splashed each other like 5 year olds. Me and JC were begging to have a good friendship and so were Lili and Kian. I just wanted everyone to be friends.
After 4 hours of swimming me and Kian changed into our movie clothes and took off, after dropping Lili and Joseph and JC off at the hotel.
I was wearing a black rhomper with long sleeves and some leather sandals. My hair was in slight beach waves from the pool and I had some sunglasses on that made me look like a hippie.
