"Mom! Mom!" The little girl called.

"Yes?" She answered.

"I wanna go outside today!" She pouted her lips and gave her mother puppy eyes.

She looked at her daughter and sighed, patting her head she gave her a soft smile.

"I'm sorry sweatie but you know you can't go outside until the moon comes out." Her mother said walking towards the window shutting it.

"Awww." Her tail stopped wagging.

Her mother gave her a sorry glance before opening the door.

"I'll be getting some things, remember stay inside! And don't open the windows." She said before leaving.

The little girl sighed before heading to her room, she heard a noise and went into the living room.

"W-whos are you!" She squeaked the figure looking at her.

They stared at each other there eyes the same bright emerald green color.

"...w-what-" they stuttered walking closer looking at the girls eyes.

"Who is your mother?" They crouched and met the girls eyes.

"Uhm, my mom? I don't know her name but she should be back in a-" the door opened and they both stared at it.

The girl ran up to her mom and her mom gasped, closing the door quickly and hiding the girl.

"Miraoi (Mi-rai)" they approached but she backed away.

"No! Go away Yukaia" she snarled as the little girl trembled behind her scared now.

Yukaia frowned before backing away.

"Is... Is she... Mine? Ours?" Yukaia muttered loud enough for Miraoi to hear.

Miraoi pinned her ears back and fought tears.

"Damnit! Damn you Yukaia!" She started to cry and sob.

"M-mom?" The little girl whimpered as Yukaia approached again holding Miraoi in her arms.

"Im sorry, I never wanted to leave.." she murmured.

Yukaia looked over at the little girl.

"What's your name?" She asked.

"I-its Mukaoi (Mu-ka-oi)" she stuttered.

Yukaia smiled softly reaching her arms out.

"Hello Mukaoi, I'm sorry this might be a lot but .. I'm your mother"

"I have a mom- are you my dad" she raised a brow.

Yukaia giggled softly.

"No, no I'm not you're dad. You can have two moms. It's okay for a girl to like a girl." She smiled.

"Whoa! Two moms!" She ran happily towards her mom's and hugged them.

"I promise to never leave you guys again.." she muttered.

*10 YEARS LATER*

Mukaoi streched and got out of bed yawning slightly. She groaned not wanting to wake up but forced herself up anyways.

"Mukaoi! Come get breakfast!" Her mother's called for her.

"Comingggg!" She called back getting dressed.

She walked out of her room and too the kitchen, sitting at a table eating some food.

"Hungry are we now?" Yukaia giggled.
