- 8:30 am

Michelle had gotten up early and so decided she was going to get a wash.

She'd been in the shower and cleaned her all the left over makeup off from yesterday.

Before she set of to the new house she had to make herself some kind of wash bag with all her makeup and hair products, so she would have something when she got there instead of having to buy more.

Squeezing at the tube, she put a decent amount of curl cream into her hand and scrunched it into the ends of her hair whilst it was still wet.

Wondering what box her hair dryer would be in, she walked out of the bathroom, across the landing and into her room.

It was placed into a box named 'chelles electricals'. She wasn't really too sure what it meant but it was what her dad wrote on. Inside the box was her hairdryer and diffuser for the end, her hair straighteners, a lava lamp, a small radio, a red desk light and a couple stings of fairy lights.

She reached in to grab her dryer and diffuser parts and shortly after ripped off the bubble wrap surrounding it.

Her old mirror hadn't been put up yet and so she decided to just dry it without looking. Which she did.

Afterwords, she walked into the bathroom to check her hair in the mirror there. Grabbing a bottle of hairspray, she flipped her head back over and sprayed into her hair. Giving it a bit of volume and helping hold in her frizzy curls.

One thing Michelle Charles really enjoyed was getting ready and dressed. Michelle wasn't planning on doing anything that day but she was still determined to make herself up.

Looking at the little makeup bag she had with her that minute, she'd decided, in that moment, she was going to a slight bit of makeup.

In the end, she decided on some mascara and eyeliner on her waterline, with some shimmery eyeshadow to top it off.

Walking into her room, she pondered on what outfit she should wear. She routed through her clothing boxes and suitcase to find something nice to wear. After all, soon she would be moving her old wardrobe into her new room so she could fill it back up with all her clothes again.

Eventually, she ended up choosing some comfier clothes, seen as how she and her dad would probably be moving furniture and sorting stuff back out all day.

She had a plain black blouse on with her blue Adidas jacket with the stripes down the arm over the top. Then paired with a pair of jeans.

It had reached about nine o'clock and she could hear her dad downstairs pratting about trying to find stuff.

Michelle walked down the stairs and into the kitchen she asked "are you alright dad?"
"Yer corse.. I'm fine I just can't seem to find my bloody toaster!" Gavin replied
"Dad why don't you look in that box that's got 'kitchen crap' written all over it" she said sarcastically with a giggle.
"Oh christ I never bleeding thought about that" he said laughing too.

"ere do ya fancy some toast chelle?" he asked opening up the box of 'kitchen crap'.
"Yes go on then.. but you better make me a brew as well!" she said messing about with her father.
"Michelle you're gunna be 18 in about five minutes.! Mek your own bloody cup of tea." He spoke with a deep Manchester accent.
Michelle sniggered rolling her eyes at her dad.
"Ey I forgot to ask !! How did ya sleep in yer new bedroom?" He said talking to her like he did when she was young.
"Oh I slept fine dad." She lied obviously, but she felt as like if she said anything about not sleeping that great, her dad would be upset. So she kept him happy by telling a little lie.

With a slice of toast in her hand, and some still in her mouth, she stood up and said "Dad I'm just gunna run up to that phone box up the road.. il see if I can get Stace to answer before she goes of to work."
Alright.. Soon the telephone in the house should be working! Il have to get onto the phone people today and ask" he replied.
She signalled thumbs up to her father as she walked out and through to the front door.

That's where she picked up some random leftover change that her dad must of put down and put it in her pocket, to use at the machine.

She slipped on a pair of Adidas trainers which were sort of matching her jacket. Opening the door and then walking out into the warm summer morning.

She kept going, walking at a normal pace until she got to the phone box. Then she swung open the red door and stepped inside.

Almost instantly she shoved the money from her pocket into the machine and picked up the phone on the wall and put it towards her ear.

Stacey's number was already imprinted into her brain so it was okay when she dialled it in because she'd done it millions of times before.

Michelle stood there for a sec while letting it ring. "common Stace for fucks sakes" she murmured under her breath, rolling her eyes.

That's when a recognisable voice came onto the line. "Hello?"
"Stace?" She spoke.
"Chelly!! Oh my god !! Her best friend replied excitedly.
"You've gotta be quick because I'm on a pay phone." She laughed
"That's alright babe! What's it like in your house then??" Stacey questioned.
"Meh I suppose it's okay I miss home tho"
She sighed.
"Oh well you will get used of it. and you will be begging me to come up and visit you!" She laughed
"Of course!! One day you will need to come down!!" "Anyway I best be going because the phone is gonna cut off! I only rang to tell you I'm not dead" Both the girls laughed at Michelle's comment.
"Yer babe it's been nice for a quick chat before work" she laughed back
"aha I know I'm going to have to try finding a new job soon." She said back rolling her eyes.

"Ill catch you later hun!"
"okay byeee" Stacey shouted down the other line but shortly being cut off because the money ran out. Supposed it was good timing really Michelle thought to herself.

She walked out of the red phone box and closed the door behind her. Beginning to trek back home.

As she was walking and looking around she caught eyes with someone on the other side of the pavement.

It was a boy, he'd seen her coming up the path. He had the most gorgeous blonde hair and beautiful blue eyes which matched the pair of baggy jeans he had on. He'd got on this green stripy rugby shirt and then a cute little bead necklace what was kind of loose but still close to his neck.

Michelle looked at him in awe but way too shy to say anything. But he just smiled at her and winked, making her get so many butterflies in her stomach. She almost instantly smiled back to him but carried on walking up the street.

All the way back to her house she couldn't help but think about that boy, and how he had winked at her.

She wondered if he lived on her new road or what house he lived in.

Little did Michelle Charles know though, was that he'd seen her this morning and heard her perfect singing.
