The school year was finally coming to an end. As sad as I was to leave Hogwarts, I was also kinda glad because Quirrel and his Noseless friend was starting to get on my nerves. The stronger Noseless became the more my scar hurt, I've had migraine for almost a month now. Although it's not all caused by the scar, it's also caused by the constant nagging from Hermonie and Ron. The two kept insisting it was Snape. Maybe they didn't believe me because I was trying to tell them Quirrel was working with Voldemort. Who knows maybe they'll believe me next year about the basilisk in the basement. That reminds me I need to have a talk with her before Voldy's younger self gets a hold of her. The basilisk doesn't deserve to die because of him.Now here we are sneaking through the castle on a crazy mission. Honestly how could kids put things together, but not a bunch adults. Well, except for Dumbledore he probably knew when he hired the guy. I wonder what other skeletons are hiding in his closet. First up is fluffy and the trap door. "Look someone must've already came through"I said pointing at the harp. "Let's go then"Hermonie said. So we opened the trap door annnnd the harp stopped. Damn it. "Uh guys why don't I hear any music?"Ron asked terrified.
"Jump!"
Devils snare curtsy of Professor Sprout. It's a whole lot creepier in person. The vines weren't so stiff and slow, they were quick and a lot thinner. I was calm from the start so I ended up falling through first then Hermonie. Ron still panicked and while Hermonie tried to remember the rhyme I was laughing my ass off. "Ugh, Violet your not helping"She stated. "Lumos!"She shouted causing Ron to fall through. "That wasn't funny Violet"Ron pouted. I rolled my eyes. "And neither was dragging me down here"I retorted. I would much rather be in bed right now. I mean it's not like Quirrel will actually get the stone since Dumbledore placed that spell. "Aren't you worried? Voldemort could come back?"Hermonie asked. "If he does then we're all screwed"I stated. Which was true, when Voldy does manage to come back then there will be a war. I plan to stop him before that, but there is still a few issues. Such as me being a damn Horcrux. "I bet Dumbledore could beat him"Ron said. I rolled my eyes. "Whatever you say Ron"I said. While Hermonie was checking out the door I started looking around for the key. When I spotted it I hopped on the broom and trying to catch it as the keys flew fiercely around me.
Gotcha!
Quickly tossing the key to Hermonie while still flying around. These keys are persistent. Once Hermonie and Ron were through I flew through and they quickly slammed the door shut. I hopped off the broom. "That's three"I stated. "Of what?"Ron asked. "That's the third time we've almost been killed tonight"I stated. "You're exaggerating Vi"Hermonie said. "These aren't puzzles Hermonie, they're traps. Designed to stop whoever is after the stone"I explained. "We shouldn't be here"I said. "Well, it's to late to turn back now"Hermonie said. We started walking forward, passing by an unconscious troll. The same troll from Halloween night. "At least now we know how a troll got in...it was already here"I muttered. "What's this"Hermonie asked as we came to the giant chess board. "It's wizards chess!"Ron exclaimed. "Well Ron it looks like you're up, lead us through this"I said. "Ok, Vi you take Bishop A3 and Hermonie take Rook F8"Ron said pointing to locations. Thanks to Ron I knew a little about wizards chess, so I knew where to go. "And what will you be?"Hermonie asked. "I'll be a knight"Ron stated as he hopped on to the horse statue.
Piece were flying everywhere some even hitting us in the process. Hermonie and I both would flinch when a chess piece got struck down, but Ron was perfectly fine. He was in his element and nothing could phase him. Until the last move, Ron sacrificing himself so that I can checkmate the queen. The queen's sword fell to the ground signaling the end of the game and allowing us to move freely again. We ran to Ron, he seemed okay probably will be a bit bruised, but overall alright...well except for being unconscious. Note to self, learn medical spells. They might come in handy. "Ron!"We shouted. Hermonie shook him a little and he started to come around again. "Is he alright?"I asked. "I think so?"Hermonie said clearly unsure. "Was that a question or a statement?"I asked. "Well I'm no doctor"She stated. "True, but I think Ron might need one. We should find a way out"I said. "But what about Snape?"She asked. "I think you mean Quirrel, I deal with him. You can take Ron and get help, but first we need to find the way out"I told her and she nodded. "Ron if you can here us we'll be right back"I called out. He responded with a groan. Hermonie and I quickly ran up ahead finding the potion task. There was a stairwell to our left, most likely the way out. I pointed it out to Hermonie as she picked up two potions. "You drink this to go through the flames and this one to come back"She stated and handed them to me. "Use the levitation spell instead of carrying Ron"I suggested and she nodded. "Good luck Violet, I'll send help as soon as I can"She said. I smiled drinking the first potion.
