"Nee-san that lady is back." Yuichiro pointed out the door as he quickly got a water of bucket
"Yuichiro don't. She's just being nice please don't do anything. Get inside and take muichiro with you" as Y/N pushed her brother inside to talk to her to the lady.
"Good evening tokito-san" The white haired lady bowed slightly. "Listen I understand you're trying to help us and that we have some kind of special ancestor but we AREN'T like that. I just want my little brothers to be safe and have a normal life."
The lady smiled gently and patted the young girls head
"I'll be back tomorrow tokito-san. I'm going to tell you more things but currently cannot since the sun will be setting soon."
Y/N raised her brow at her but Y/N had a basket of bao buns for her since Yuichiro poured water on her the other day..
The lady took it and said her thanks before she left
"Nee-san what was that?! You gave her the food? why would you you know we don't have enough money" Yuichiro scolded at his older sister while Muichiro was watching nervously
"Shut it. You still poured water on the woman"
"BECAUSE SHE WANTS US TO BECOME DEMON SLAYERS." Yuichiro and Y/N yelled back and fourth
"hey.. maybe we should become demon slayers! if that lady is telling the truth then i think we should. Helping the weaker people is good right nee-san?"
Y/N and Yuichiro looked at Muichiro confused. Angry. Sadnesses all together
"we ARE the weaker people muichiro. WE WANT NORMAL LIVES. MOM DIED OF A SICKNESS AND DAD DIED TRYING TO HELP HER YOU SEE WHAT HELPING THE WEAKER DOES?!"
Muichiro began to sob from his brothers yelling but was shocked as he heard a loud smack.
"Don't yell at your brother. I understand what you're saying but enough. bed now."
Yuichiro grabbed his cheek angrily crying heading to bed.
Muichiro watched as he walked away then looked at his older sister
"Mui.. i'm sorry for all of this. I know I don't usually hit or yell. But i don't think we can become demon slayers. I just want you both to be normal boys with normal lives."
Muichiro understood what she was saying and he crawled to her and laid his head on her lap sobbing still.
Y/N brushed his hair with her fingers having guilt that she hit her brother.
"I'll protect you and yuichiro okay? i'm your big sister i'll do anything for you both."
"Thank you nee-san.. we love you" Muichiro hugged his sister goodbye as he was going to get ready for bed.
Y/N smiled and got up to open the door before they were going to bed because it's currently summer and the heat inside the house is just too much.
