As the invaders attacked,the god of mischief,Loki,came to fight off the attackers. As Rocket,Lylla,Teefs,Floor,Gamora and Yondu arrived, Lylla,Teefs and Floor went to find a hiding spot as Rocket,Gamora and Yondu fought off the villains. After the fight, Ego and the others left,but showed no signs of leaving heaven forever. As they were joined by Loki, Rocket said,"You are thor's brother." "Adopted." Loki responded with a hint of annoyance. Lylla said,"Does anyone know how to close the portal?" Rocket replied,"Since the cosmic energy opened the portal,we have to find energy on Earth to counter it." Gamora replied,"Looks like its time to see Quill." "How are we going to do that? We are ghosts,in case you forgot." Loki questioned,rolling his eyes at Gamora's apparent stupudity. " I can invent a device to do that,genius." Rocket retorted in a snarky tone.
After Rocket invented that device, they all floated down to earth,to see Peter Quill spending time with his grandfather. "Psst,Quill. Its me,Rocket." Peter turned to see a ghost version of Rocket. As they discussed,Rocket and his new team of ghosts discovered where the counter energy is. They bid a farewell to Peter Quill,promising to visit soon.
