"There's a little secret I've been keeping from you." I told my boyfriend, Connor. "What is it? I will forgive you." He texted me back. "I have a crush on another guy. We have talked a lot recently & I wanted to let you know. I don't want to ruin our relationship but he asked me out. I didn't know what to say."
I was a nervous wreck after I texted him that. He texted back, "Really?! You could have told me along time ago. Now I don't know if I want to be with you. I don't know if I can trust you! If you don't want to be with me, just tell me!!! Now I don't want to be your boyfriend. I'm breaking up with you!!!" I cried my eyes out.
I found Jake outside in his front yard playing baseball with his little brother, Kevin, who was 8. I had my window cracked & he could hear crying so loud, that he came over and knocked on the front door.
My little sister, Willow, who was 6, answered the door. "Is Selleh here?" He asked Willow. "Yes. She's in her room." She told him. "Do you mind if I can go talk to her?" He asked. "Go ahead." Willow stated.
A couple of seconds later, there was a knock at my door. It was Jake. I dried my eyes, so he wouldn't know. He already knew. I was laying in my bed & shaking. I hollered & said come in. He slowly opened the door and walked towards my bed, then set on the edge. Are you okay?" He asked. "Yeah. I'm just going threw a tough time with a certain person." I told him quietly.
"You can tell me anything! You can trust me. I will always be here for you! Who are you sad about?" Jake questioned. "My ex-boyfriend." I said. "He broke up with me after I told him I had a crush on another guy today. I still love him but I love someone else." I also told him. "It will be okay. Would you want to tell me who you also love?" He pushed at me quick. "Idk. I'm afraid to tell you who." I said with a sad voice. "Come on! Tell me!" He exclaimed. "Okay. The other person I love is....um...you-uuu." I responded wondering if I should have. "Oh...." He said like he didn't love me back. Even though he did.
It got really quiet & I felt so embarrassed. "Don't worry. I love you too." He told me. I felt so happy but sad all at once.
