Chapter 5

The Ice Queen had been jealous of the fun and happiness of the Candy Kingdom, and she was determined to ruin the celebration. The Ice Queen grabbed me and flew up into the sky, high above the clouds.

I was struggling and fighting, but the Ice Queen was too strong. She held onto me tightly and cackled with glee as she flew higher and higher. Finally, the Ice Queen released her grip, causing me to fall to my death.

As I fell down from the sky because the Ice Queen crashed the party, I saw that Gumball looked in panic. "Fionna!" He yelled as he looked to Cake. "Trying catching her with those stretchy paws you've got!" He yelled as he looked up to me.

"I've been trying you, Gumwad!" Cake yelled to the Prince as she was worried. Cake and I were the best of friends, and it would be a shame if anything were to happen to me or her.

But just as I was about to hit the ground, Marshall Lee, the Vampire King, swooped in and caught me. "Huh..?" I said as i wasn't except anybody to have saved me.

Marshall Lee had been watching the party from afar and had seen the Ice Queen's treacherous act. He knew he had to act fast to save me.

Marshall Lee carried me back to the party, where Prince Gumball and Cake were waiting. They were overjoyed to see Fionna alive and well. The Ice Queen, however, was nowhere to be found.

"Thank you, Marshall, for saving my sweet dear Fionna. That Ice Queen came, and I knew she would. At some point. Just didn't realize she'd come today ..." Gumball said as he looked to me.

"Oh, Fi!" Cake said qith over joy as she hugged me. "I thought you'd be gone forever !" She yelled as she was crying.

"No problem. Prince.. Gumball, " he said as he looked to me. The look in his eyes looked so sweet, and he seemed happy that I was okay and not hurt. "You're alright, right, Fionna?" He asked me as I nodded.

"Oh, of course, Marshall.. I haven't seen you in so long. You came out of nowhere.. I didn't even see you at this party?" I said as it was true. The whole time I was here, I didn't see Marshall not one time.

"It's true you didn't see me. I was hiding to the side lines in case something were to happen. In this case, something DID happen, " he said as he walked over to me. He grabbed hold of me and pulled me into a tight hug. "It's alright, princess..."

He called me that, and my chreks blushed a slight bit. 'Princess'? Did he really call me that? I'm far from being a princess. I hugged him back as I looked up to him. "Marshall Lee..? "I said as I blushed. Being this close, I felt his cold skin against my fingers, and I just couldn't help but smile.

"Thank you, Marshall. I am really grateful you saved me.. really, I am! " I said as I was hugging tighter.

Suddenly, a voice was heard from behind us as I got shocked. "Fionna...?" the voice said. I glanced behind me as I slowly released my grip from Marshall.
