"Where were you?"

Sydney's eyes opened wide when she saw him in front of her. She really didn't expect him at this hour as he usually comes back only at night. She doesn't want to say about the class, or he would get to know about him. And she decided to lie to her husband.

"I-I went to the hospital." She said, gulping down so hard. He nodded before continuing what he was doing earlier. He was searching for something with a glass of wine in his hand. "Should I help you? Are you searching for something?" She said, walking closer to him, not until he raised his voice.

"Just get lost in your room, that's a big help." She couldn't hold back her tears when he said that. It wasn't something new for her yet it was hurting like hell. She doesn't know why she must go through something like this when she did nothing against the man. All she did was yes when her parents came up with this marriage proposal just for their sake.

She thought she would be at least helpful to her parents after all the bankruptcy and loans they went through. She thought she would make their lives easier but now she was the one suffering. The cruel part is when she talked to them about his behaviour, they would simply ignore it.

She locked herself in the room and cried like anything. She already cried a lot. Her thoughts came to Jungkook and she started smiling in tears. He was a little light in her darkness. It was only a few meets, yet he didn't go without capturing her little heart. She always wondered how could he hold a few galaxies inside his doe eyes. He is really a personification of cuteness and she couldn't get enough of him.

When her husband was outside her room, she was wondering how can she meet him again. And she made sure no one could see him with her. Especially her husband. When she was deep in her thoughts, she heard the door banging sound, making her flinch. She instantly answered the door.

"I'm leaving." Her husband said, folding his sleeves and tucking in his shirt. Her eyes squinted as he would bid her bye once in a blue moon. "Lock the door and don't answer the door until I come back home." He said and she gulped what he meant. Once he was out of town, his business partners came in search of her as they knew she was alone. Fortunately, she didn't open the door or she couldn't imagine what would have happened on that night.

He came closer, kissing her cheek. She was disgusted yet didn't show it on her face. "I would never make any man touch you without my approval." As he said, she clenched her fist so badly and she hid it behind her back. "I will be back in a week and you just go to hospital and come back. No need to meet your parents when I'm not around."

"I will not see them." She replied abruptly, locking her eyes on the ground. "Good" He nodded before going out. He didn't tell her where he was going, or what he would be doing. He treats her like shit when she was holding back everything to herself.

Through her window, she saw his car leaving the apartment. Breathing in heavily, she packed her stuff and locked her house, booking a cab for herself. She went to the hospital first and once she is done, she straightaway when to the academy where Jungkook was teaching the kids.

Checking her watch from time to time, she wondered if he left the place. Once she came to the class, she realised it was locked and everyone left. She breathed in heavily, sitting on the bench. Only if he had a phone, she would've called him before visiting him. Her forehead was covered with beads of sweat when she rushed here for nothing.
