The name of this picture is called purity, as the title says with my oc dooma.
I was bored when I made this simple picture but I decided to give it more reasons to look into it a little more.
White butterflies - Dooma's favorite insect are butterflies but she has taken a liking to simple white ones.White butterflies have many meanings specifically meaning purity and spiritual transformation, In folktales there are a lot of stories about white butterflies, some say they mean Goodluck and prosperity, but my favorite meaning is that white butterflies mean that an angel is watching over you, which is exactly like Dooma's personality pure and angelic, and basically innocent.
Tears - Its usually a sign of weakness or sadness but I researched that it also meant purity and reflect on a journey.I enjoy nostalgic feelings and enjoy reflecting on past moments I enjoyed. Dooma also has this nostalgic trait from me, she enjoys looking back on the past experiences she enjoyed and misses dearly.Tears also represent life in a way.
Like white butterflies, dooma has more to her simple boring grey scale color scheme. Dooma's personality is pure and innocent, just like how white butterflies are presented.She has never been experienced to sexual behaviors or anything sexual for the matter which shows how innocent she is, yet she has her flaws as well, being very clumsy and extremely awkward, she has a tendency to mess up when playing, she enjoys other activities then playing, for example she enjoys baking and drawing and has a soft spot for certain monsters.
It is a simple picture yes, but it has more meaning.
