The atmosphere was extremely awkward as the now newly declared members of the new k-pop group under Be:lift sat on the floor of their new dorm's living room after filming their first content.
Ofcourse they were happy about debuting, they were happy for each other, atleast most of them. They've done this together, struggled together for a long long time. They should be celebrating, yet....there stood a huge gap between them, separating their morals.
Their newly appointed manager and assistant manager glanced at each other before sighing, "just start over and introduce yourselves to each other if you all will be acting like this behind the camera." The manager deadpanned having seen how much more friendly and close they looked on camera.
"We already know each other though....." Iseul trailed off.
Hearing this Jake chuckled, "she means that we should just start over to let go of the awkwardness."
"Oh." Iseul scratched the back of her neck at his words. Sunghoon rolled his eyes.
"Hi? I'm Lee Eunbi and I am not Heeseung's sister." Eunbi smiled, giving a pointed look at Ni-ki who still tried to make sense on how they aren't related.
"Noona, look-" Ni-ki tried before stopping sentence because of the look he recieved from the oldest. "I'm Nishimura Riki. From Japan?"
"Really?" June mocked. Ni-ki reached out and pulled her hair causing her to hiss, "you were saying?" Ni-ki smirked. "Try touching my hair one more time and I would not hesitate to shave your eyebrows." She threatened.
"Please. Let's not do that." The manager pleaded, already hating her job. "We'll leave now, dinner is in the fridge. Please don't burn the dorm down."
The members burst out in laughter. Things took a lighter turn soon as the laughed and talked.
"I still remember baby Meri walking in nervously. Eunbi eonnie immediately adopted her." Iseul chuckled, thinking back to her trainee days when Meridith (June) first joined BigHit.
"I couldn't help it. She looked like she wanted to cry." Eunbi laughed.
"Well....i really did." June grimaced. The members looked at her curiously, "well what did you expect? The first thing I saw after entering the practice room was men. A room full of JUST MEN." She exclaimed.
"How is that bad?" Jungwon asked in confusion.
"Bad? That's the worst thing. I feel bad for you baby." Eunice grimaced.
"You know, you guys are currently sitting with seven men." Heeseung laughed.
"Unfortunately." June shook her head. Jay grabbed her in a headlock.
" what the fuck,dude-"
"Language."
"Language."
"What?" June gasped, "make sure you never meet other kids my age, you both." She pointed at Eunbi and Heeseung.
"What do you mean-" Eunbi asked.
"Oh you know-"
"Mei, you good?" Eunice asked the girl who sat there smiling at them.
" We'll be a family now. " She said with a chuckle, "no more rivalry".
"Ofcourse." Jay smiled, now side hugging the youngest who tiredly leaned into him.
But the peace didn't last long as a petty argument broke out between Iseul and Sunghoon who were still not over their past rivalry and haven't quite warmed up to each other.
