You were currently sitting in the Tortuga reading a book, when Chris walked up to you. "Hey, Y/n. Whatcha readin?" "A book about animals," you responded, showing him the book. "Did you know that sloths are actually really good swimmers?" "Wow, that's really interesting. Speaking of animals, wanna go on a creature adventure with me?" "Sure, where's Martin?" "Actually, um, I was thinking we could go by ourselves. You know, just the two of us?" He looked at you, a hopeful gleam in his eyes. "Ok, I guess. I just hope Martin won't be too upset that we're going without him." You said, closing your book and standing up. "Great! Let's go!" He grabbed your hand, making you blush, and ran towards the exit of the Tortuga."Come on! I know a great place we can go!"

He led you to a small clearing with a cliff, facing the setting sun. Chris sat down near the cliff, patting the ground next to him to invite you to sit with him. You sat down beside him, enjoying the beautiful view of the sunset. "Look! There's an eagle!" You saw an eagle soaring in the skies overhead. "Wow, that's so cool!" You exclaimed, amazed at the sight before you. Chris looked at you, blushing. He thought you were absolutely adorable, especially when you were excited. You looked back at him, smiling.

"Hey, Y/n?" "Yes?" You replied, wondering what he was going to ask. "There's actually a reason I asked to come out here with you." He blushed, looking away sheepishly and rubbing the back of his neck. You looked at him curiously, waiting for him to continue. "You see.. I've been wanting to spend more time with you. Because, well.. I like you. Like, more than a friend." Now it was your turn to blush, as you looked at him, smiling. "I feel the same, Chris." You said, gazing into his eyes. "Wait, really?! You have no idea how happy this makes me! I could just kiss you right now! Um, can I kiss you?" "Yes, you big goofball!" You giggled, leaning in to kiss him. It was short, sweet, and full of love. You both pulled away, smiling like a couple of idiots at how happy you were. You were the first to speak, "We should probably head back now, it's getting kind of late." He nodded, helping you up. You both walked back to the Tortuga, hand in hand, happy you were finally together.
