Sailor Shinobi

Prologue

It's been two and half years since Naruto left Konoha to train with Jiraiya. Since then, everyone has grown significantly stronger and have ranked up. Now the two shinobi are returning from their long training trip. When the two arrived at one of the many gates and were questioned before being welcomed back. Naruto then leaves Jiraiya behind and jumps on top of one of the tallest buildings, and shouted out his return.

Naruto: Hey Konoha! Naruto Uzumaki is back!

Then Naruto's old teammate, Sakura Haruno, called out to Naruto. Naruto jumped down and found that Sakura wasn't alone.

???: Hey, Naruto nii-chan, welcome back.

Naruto: Konohamuru, is that you?

Konohamuru: Yeah, it's me, Konohamuru Hiruzen.

Naruto: Looks like you've grown up.

Konohamuru: So, did you onii-chan.

Sakura: So, did you just get back?

Naruto: Yeah. I wanted to go ahead and see Konoha again.

Sakura: That's so like you, Naruto.

???: So that's where you went, Naruto. Trying to reunite with your girlfriend~

Naruto: Shut up, Pervy Sage!

Jiraiya: Anyways, we should head to the Hokage's office where Tsunade is waiting for us.

Naruto: Hai.

The group of four made their way to the Hokage's office.

3rd Pov

When the four got to the Hokage's office, Tsunade welcomed the two back to the village alongside Shizune.

Shizune: Welcome back, Jiraiya-sama and Naruto-san.

Tsunade: So how did his training go, Jiraiya?

Jiraiya: Things went well. I was able to get Naruto to use his three tails state and increase the power of his Rasengon.

Tsunade: You feel good enough to fight against your old Sensei, Naruto?

Naruto: I'm ready for anything, Granny.

Tsunade: Good you and Sakura will meet with Kakashi at training grounds 13 to test your training and teamwork.

Sakura: Yes, Lady Tsunade.

Naruto: Sure thing, Granny Tsunade.

Naruto, Sakura, and Konohamuru left the Hokage's office. Sakura separated from the two as they went to Naruto's apartment. When they got there, Naruto was surprised to see how clean it is.

Naruto: Wow! It's just like as if I never left.

Konohamuru: I cleaned the apartment once a week.

Naruto: Thanks, Konohamuru.

Konohamuru: No problem onii-chan.

Naruto: I'd like to rest for a while. I'll see you later at Ichiraku's.

Konohamuru: See you later onii-chan.

Naruto locked the door behind himself and dropped his bag before taking off his shoes and headband and went straight to bed. Naruto fell straight to sleep and didn't wake up until a couple of hours later. When he woke up, he put on his headband and shoes back on and left for Ichiraku's.

3rd Pov

When Naruto got there, Konohamuru was waiting for him.

Konohamuru: Onii-chan overhear!

Naruto: Coming.

Naruto went in and sat next to Konohamuru before ordering three bowls of Misou Ramen as Konohamuru ordered himself a bowl.

Konohamuru: So, how was your nap?

Naruto: It was nice. I'm feeling refreshed.

Konohamuru: That's good.

Naruto: So how have you been since I left the village?

Konohamuru: I've been doing good. I got even better at Oiroke no Jutsu.

Naruto: That's great. When I'm done with my fight with Kakashi Sensei, I'm going to teach you an A rank jutsu.

Konohamuru: Alright!

The two enjoyed the rest of the time eating ramen and catching up.

Training Grounds 13
3rd Pov

After eating dinner with Konohamuru, Naruto left and went straight to training grounds 13 where he met up with Sakura.

Naruto: Hey Sakura!

Sakura: Hey Naruto, how was your day?

Naruto: It was nice. I took a nap and ate ramen with Konohamuru.

Sakura: That's good.

Kakashi: I hope I'm not interrupting anything.

Both: Kakashi Sensei.

Kakashi: It's good to see you again, Naruto.

Naruto: It's good to see you too, Kakashi Sensei.

The three hugged, happy to have Naruto back again.

Kakashi: Alright, enough of our reunion, do you two remember the first test I gave you?

Naruto: The bell test, right?

Kakashi: Yes. Tonight, we'll be doing the bell test to see how well you two have improved since the last two and half years.

Sakura: Are you ready Naruto cause I don't you holding us back?

Naruto: I haven't been training for two and half years for nothing.

Kakashi: You have until midnight to get a bell. The begins... Now!

Naruto and Sakura immediately dashed towards Kakashi with Naruto, throwing a kunai at him. Sakura threw a strong left hook, but Kakashi shunshined away, leaving a massive crater. Naruto created two kage bunshin with one throwing the two towards Kakashi. The other began forming a Rasengon in Naruto's right hand before they were covered in the one tail cloak, making the Rasengon bigger and more powerful.

Before Kakashi could dodge or shunshine away, Sakura punched him on his head before the two Naruto clones slammed the Rasengon, causing a massive explosion. After the dust subsided, Kakashi was down, and the two got a bell each. Eventually, Kakashi came to and smiled at his students.

Tsunade: You two have proven yourselves well.

Sakura: Lady Tsunade?!

Naruto: When did you get here, Granny Tsunade?

Tsunade: I have a mission for you.

Naruto: What is it, Granny Tsunade?

Tsunade: You're going to Japan to take care of mysterious creatures terrorizing the people there.

Naruto: What's Japan?

Sakura: It's a relatively new land that's been discovered.

Tsunade: You have until tomorrow night to leave. Have a good evening.

Kakashi: I'll see you two tomorrow night.

Kakashi shunshined away.

Sakura: See you tomorrow, Naruto.

Naruto: See you, Sakura.

Naruto and Sakura left and went straight home.
