Y/N takes a deep breathe in and deep breathe out, smiling to herself, before opening the door to the warmly atmospheric bar compared to the dimly-lit streets of her neighborhood at night. She steps in and looks around, trying to spot Hyera.

It seems she isn't here yet.

Y/N gently slides into one of the couches, crossing her legs underneath the table. She takes out her phone, holding it in front of her in order to check her makeup and hair. From the phone screen, she notices someone approaching from behind.

"Hi.. um.."

Y/N gently places down her phone and turns, facing the stranger. "Yes?" Y/N waits for their response. She notices the girl's long braided red hair and hypnotizing yellow eyes. Y/N feels her cheeks turning somewhat pink and reddish.

"I was just wondering if.. I could interview you..." The red-haired girl starts fidgeting with her fingers. She gives off a sort of nervous and reclusive demeanor, making Y/N a little confused.

"*chuckles awkwardly* A-An interview? For what?" Y/N raises an eyebrow. "Who are you?"

"O-Oh! I'm Cho Minjae. A literature major at.. um.. the same university as you.." The red-haired girl interrupts her. "T-This is for the newspaper at our school.. I'm.. uh.. gathering opinions on the recent increase in tuition and costs.."

Y/N's face remains the same, causing Minjae to look down nervously. "But..how did you know I go to the same university as you?" Y/N waits for Minjae's response, staring at her with a suspicious look.

"That!" A person interjects and places a hand on Minjae's shoulder and gently pushes Minjae to the side. "Might've been my fault~"

Minjae blushes profusely and looks down, scratching her face once Hyera makes herself known. Hyera's tight red colored dress with black high heels stands out compared to Minjae's denim jeans and gray sweater.

"Hyera, you're late." Y/N rubs the back of her head in annoyance, causing Hyera to giggle. "Sorry! Hehe~ I just had to sort out some stuff.."

She places herself down beside Y/N, resting her head on her hand and observing Y/N.

"Minjae is an.. acquaintance.. of mine. She's a year younger than us." Hyera smiles. "She just wanted help on a project, so I suggested she could interview you.. since you have the highest grades out of anyone in our major.."

Y/N turns her gaze from Hyera to Minjae and back. She grins and sighs, not wanting to be rude to a younger student and considering Hyera's point.

"Yeah, sure. I'll help you. We'll do the interview on another day, is that alright with you?" Y/N smiles politely at Minjae.

Minjae's face lights up as she nods fervently. "Thank you so much!" She bows to Hyera and  then to me before walking away. Y/N waves goodbye to her as she turns to Hyera.

"She's pretty.. isn't she?" Hyera chuckles and sits up properly. Y/N raises an suspicious eyebrow. "Yeah, she is.. Any particular reason you just asked that?"

Hyera smirks and leans on her side onto the couch, facing Y/N. "Just wanted to see what you thought.." Hyera takes a deep breathe out. She then calls to a waiter and orders some drinks.

"Where did you even find her?" Y/N chuckles in disbelief.

Hyera doesn't answer the question as she quietly observes Y/N. She seems to notice something is off. "That's not important right now.. what's important is why you didn't jump at the opportunity to have an interview!" Hyera takes a sip of her dirnk.

"I don't know.." Y/N sighs and lays back into the couch with Hyera. "Did.. something happen?" Hyera smirks, causing Y/N to furrow her eyebrows.

"You did.." Y/N returns in a sarcastic tone as she chugs down her drink. Hyera chuckles in response and nudges Y/N playfully. "And no.. nothing happened." Y/N places down her drink on the table and  looks at Hyera with a smile.
