It was a dark and really stormy night over Mistral. Like, really REALLY stormy. Lighting every minute and twice as much thunder.
In the castle, Team FRBD were poking around after reports of a supposed type of Grimm scaring people away from the castle. However, it had gotten to be way too much for them(They are still only in their first year of Beacon technically after all), causing them to have to start hiding while waiting for hopeful backup.
Whatever the beast was, it began approaching a closet, letting out a low growl noise. Then, some amphibic-like Grimm hands jammed it's claws into the door and ripped it wide open and on the other side had been Team FRBD! And they had Scooby with them.
"It's found us!!!" Fred exclaimed
Team FRBD all ran off, Fred, Velma, and Daphne shooting off in one direction, leaving Scooby and Shaggy. In their panic, the two took off in the separate directions.
"Yikes!!" Shaggy screamed as he ran through the halls of the castle
Shaggy ducked into a room with a table in it and slam the door behind them. Shaggy locks it and ran over to open the door on the other side of the room only for the Grimm to be there!
This specific Grimm wasn't like much others. It had the height of an Ursa, but had seaweed dripping off of it as if it had been in the castle's moat. It had razor sharp claws and webbing in-between it's fingers. This beast throughout the course of the events leading up to this had been dubbed 'the Moat Monster'.
The Moat Monster to be standing right there on the other side of the door making Shaggy scream as he started backing up. In a desperate effort, he tried to open the door he used to get in, but forgot was locked. Eventually, he pulled the doorknob clean off of the door. Everyone, even the monster, were confused. Shaggy tosses t into the air as he takes off running the knob hits the monster in the head. As he ran, Shaggy could only let one phrase out of his mouth.
"SCOOBY-DOO, WHERE ARE YOU???!?!?!?!!!?!?!?!!??"
Shaggy came running around a corner, looking behind him as he ran not noticing that he was heading right for Scooby until it's too late and they bump into each other. Scooby ends up on Shaggy's back, and the chase continues with Scooby on Shaggy's back.
Scooby-Dooby-Doo, Where are You?
Shaggy comes up to a corner and The Moat Monster shows up and the three scream and Shaggy turns around and starts running the other way, screaming.
We got some work to do now
As Shaggy started his run before taking off, the carpet came up in front of the monster and the monster rips the carpet with it's claws.
Scooby-Dooby-Doo, Where are You?
Scooby comes riding around a corner with Shaggy on his back and The Moat Monster not far behind.
We need some help from you now
They run past a suit of armor and Shaggy lifted up the arm with the shield to block The Moat Monster but the monster swipes the armor once and wrecks it.
Come on, Scooby-Doo, I see you
Scooby sees a table coming up and ducks under it while Shaggy slides along the top of it sending things flying off of the table.
Pretending you got a sliver
Then, he landed on Scooby's back, Scooby still running with the monster right on their tail.
You're not fooling me, cause I can see
Then, they come up to a hall with 6 doors on it. 3 on each side and go in one and come out another while the monster watches this go down.
The way you shake and shiver
Fred, Velma, and Daphne come to a sliding stop in front of a window behind the monster. Fred trying to arm his crossbow.
You know we got a mystery to solve, so Scooby-Doo, be ready for your act
The monster grabs a shield after seeing them, following that up by tossing the shield at them like a disc.
Don't hold back!
The detectives run dodging the shield causing it to crash through the window
The trio then comes out to a balcony and aren't really seeing where they're going
And Scooby-Doo, if you come through, you're gonna have yourself a Scooby Snack
Suddenly, the stone railing comes out and Velma and Daphne fall only for Fred to grab onto Velma and Daphne's hands.
That's a fact!
The Moat Monster comes up behind Fred and slashes at him, not only ripping through part of his clothes but also injuring him to where he was bleeding a bit, making him drop Velma but luckily she grabbed onto Daphne's leg.
Scooby-Dooby-Doo, Here are You
Fred blocked his face preparing for the next attack.
You're ready and you're willing
But, out of nowhere, Scooby falls right into The Moat Monster's arms making him stumble backwards back into the castle.
If we can count on you, Scooby-Doo,
The Moat Monster then ends up tossing Scooby onto a railing on a spiral staircase and Scooby slides down the rail then onto a chandelier as the monster runs down the stairs after him.
I know we'll catch that villain
Scooby swings on the chandelier and the chains break sending it flying into a grandfather clock, which hits a suit of armor, which hits another suit of armor, which hits another suit of armor, which hits another suit of armor, which hits another suit of armor, which hits another suit of armor, which hits another suit of armor, which hits another suit of armor, which hits another suit of armor, which hits another suit of armor, which hits The Moat Monster burying him under all that armor.
Meanwhile, Fred and Shaggy helped Daphne and Velma back onto solid ground and they went and saw The Moat Monster buried in armor. Velma pulled off the mask revealing....
"Zoinks! Like, it's Mr. Beeman, the real estate agent of the castle!" Shaggy says coming out from behind Fred
"RMr. Beeman??" Scooby comments in confusion while Daphne was at work trying to patch up Fred's injuries
"Yeah, he was making millions of counterfeit Lien in the basement with his printing presses." Velma explained. "All that stuff on the floor we originally thought was mold was really just Lien printing ink. See??"
Velma pulled Mr. Beeman's monster costume gloves off, revealing the ink stains on his hands.
"Aggh!" Beeman snarled. "And I would've gotten away with it too if it hadn't been for that big dog and you meddling kids!!"
Scooby puts the mask on his paw and it opens it mouth suddenly making Scooby jump into Shaggy's arms
