You look amazing

I was getting ready for the ball I wore all silver jewelry to match my dress. It was perfect and this night would be perfect if I didn't see Percy. I was walking down the steps with Luna she was wearing a gold dress with her blonde hair curled, and we looked absolutely beautiful. When I was walking down the steps I swear I heard small gasps escape everyone's mouth. I'm not saying this in a cocky way but I usually dress like a little boy so this was new for me and everyone else.

Percy's pov

I see everyone turn their head towards the entrance, when I look I saw the most beautiful Natalee walking down those steps, only to be greeted by Neville.

I felt my heart crush, I don't take lots of interest in people but Natalee was the one I wanted. No one else seemed to rock my stubborn boat, my date must have seen me staring at Natalee for way too long because I heard a sigh come out of her pesky mouth

I gave her a god-awful look, I decided I needed to talk to Natalee. When I found her she wasn't with Neville thankfully. "Uh love can we talk," I said in the most confident voice I could find. When she snapped her head towards me I swear I saw a smirk, but it quickly changed to a frown "Yes Percy" she said in a calm voice. I started to regret my decision to come over here because she didn't like how I
Liked her. But I took my chance to bend down and whisper to her ear.

"I've missed you," I say in the calmest voice, I have missed her. Everything about her, and I couldn't just let go. I could just let her slip through my finger tips again. And I'm going to get her back, even if it isn't tonight, but all I know is she will be mine again.

Natalee's pov

I stood stunned by the words that came out of Percy's mouth, so stunned I didn't speak back. Maybe this was my chance to make things right maybe I could be in his arms. By the time I dared to say something he was already walking away, to his date.

Tomorrow I'll find the boy and tell him everything, but for tonight I'm going to have fun. Even if it is without the boy I adore so much
